N3oXr2ii the united Negative Ten. 7	Posted - 2012.03.07 16:42:00 - [1] - Quote A few questions about csm Which csm was responsible for the super cap nerf Which csm was responsible for the learning skills reset which csm wants to make electronic frigates point supercaps which csm thinks these bc and destroyers skills changes is a good idea which csm thinks incrusions are too profitible which csm thinks sp reset for plex is a good idea which csm will push for more profit in low sec which csm will push to fix the frag warping which csm will work towards fixing the new push jump then log exploit Me and a few freinds (118 votes in total) talk back and forward and put these questions the most important out of the 100's we came across, most of us never voted but are sick of bad changes and things that need change getting over looked, i guess we can't make a difference but every vote counts right ? it would make us feel better and pushg us to vote if we could get anwsers you may flame and say find out for yourselfs but we are all noobs to teh csm and don't want to waste anymore time if we can't make a difference not edited for spelling or grammer cause who gives a **** -aplease don't take out your real life issues out on me not my fault if your fat ugly bullied divorced broke or-a have a pimple thats big and red maybe your mom wants you out her basement or a jock has gave you a wedgie your flames only make me laff at your sadness your hidden tears are as juicy as the whiners i blob or the blobs i hide-afrom

The supercap lobby is strong though, it wonGGVt be an easy thing to push for but IGGVll go out on a limb for it. EAFGGVs need love, and supercaps need to die. Seems like a win-win to me! IGGVm a lowsec resident, so IGGVm all for low sec ships being useful against supers, which obliterate the balance of power in low sec areas and discourage normal regional pew in a big way. I think rather than let EAFGGVs just scram stuff though, perhaps allowing them to fit a focused point module, like a heavy interdictor? It may or may not be the same as the dictors, but I could see it being an option (like cynos for recon ships) standard on all EAFGGVs. Could be capital-specific, maybe. IGGVd have to weigh all the pros and cons but I love ideas like this that let the little guys take down behemoths Lilleputian-style *which csm thinks these bc and destroyers skills changes is a good idea* The requirement MUST be that anything you can fly today, you can fly after the change. Full reimbursement must be made so no one retrains anything. That being said, Its hardly GG#streamliningGG% anything to multiple skills by a racial variant. My biggest beef with the current overhaul is that while itGGVs a step in the right direction, IGGVd much rather focus their resources on the actual ship balance itself. It doesnGGVt matter whether a bellicose has a tier number or not, or what it takes to fly it, if the bellicose still sucks. IGGVd prefer CCP work on fixing useless ships FIRST, instead of renaming them all and swapping around skills only to have them still be right back where they started in having the same number of ships still be useless. IGGVm also hesitant about giving too defined a role to ships GGt I want flexibility to be maintained in fit and usage, especially in the tech 1 and pirate ships. Ultimately, PLAYERS should decide how exactly to use ships, and not be on rails with what CCP decides you need to use a ship for. ThatGGVs my mentality when approaching ship balance discussions, with some exceptions of course for the dedicated tech 2 variants. ThereGGVs a lot of experimentation in low sec pew, I want to protect this. *which csm thinks incrusions are too profitible* CCPGGVs economist is the one with the final say on profitability, as it affects inflation. GG#too profitableGG% is to be taken with a grain of salt. Nullsec alliances farm moon goo that almost never gets nuked on its way to market because of JFGGVs. Is this not carebearing? Incursion runners can at least be ganked easily. What IGGVd like to see fixed is the farming GGt making all types of incursion site fun and profitable, rather than just having on Vanguard be done over and over again in record time while the Mom goes unmolested. ThatGGVs silly even from a RP standpoint, I hope we can encourage CCP to modify incursions so they can run their course in a reasonable time and spawn elsewhere. *which csm thinks sp reset for plex is a good idea* This is extremely controversial, and as a younger player, IGGVd need to have some more extensive conversations with a wide number of veterans before I advocated for such a change. If it WAS ever to be implemented, I think it should be in extremely small numbers, and once every 6 months or so, similar to a neural remap. ItGGVs purpose if implemented should to be to recycle GG#junkGG% skills not being used, (like starter industry stuff on a combat toons, or weapon paths you gave up early on) never to radically re-spec your character for a new purpose in EvE. *which csm will push for more profit in low sec* I will, without a doubt. I want Factional Warfare profits to come from capturing plexes, and killing players, not from farming PvE missions. Putting more PvP back into the missions is great too, but however you slice it I want my militia friends to be paid to pew, not paid to shoot rats. There is plenty of that else where. Also, as a booster manufacturer, no one understands the lack of low sec rewards more than me. IGGVve spent extensive time running low sec scan sites, looting blueprints, mining gas, hunting for treasures, and ALL of it could use a general isk bump compared to the risks involved. I want to entice more people out of the safety in high sec by making low sec truly rewarding. For a lot of us in low sec, the pew pew in low sec IS the reward, this is a core part of my campaign message. I want to see more ways for casual PvP to be fostered, less GCC downtime, less gnarly gatefire preventing small ship use in the region designed for small ships. *which csm will push to fix the frag warping* IGGVm assuming you mean the side drifting?? IGGVll certainly be asking about this. Yes, moon goo is imbalanced and something needs to be done about it (as all CSM members agree). However, there's a fundamental difference between the effects of moon goo and incursions. Tech moons give large alliances a monopoly on a vital component in T2 manufacturing. Incursions, on the other hand, inject isk directly into the economy - they're an isk 'faucet', while moon minerals are neither a faucet nor a sink. You don't need to be an economist, but I'm a little shocked at this. I'd expect someone running for CSM to have a better understanding of how the economy works.

I completely understand isk faucets and sinks. Part of what can be done to adjust this is to modify the payout method in terms of balancing the raw isk bounty value, possibly shifting more value to the LP reward, which can act as an isk sink where items require cash to be traded in alongside LP. I wasn't comparing Moon Goo to incursion cash payouts directly in terms of inflation, I was only comparing them in terms of risk / reward. I understand that Moon Good still needs to be traded for isk generated elsewhere, and doesn't create cash. The inflation call is one that needs to be made by the economist though - if it gets out of control, measures should be taken, I agree. Missed an interview or debate? Check my CSM7 blog for details.
