Hooray a devblog that doesn't cause repeated rage during reading, and even better actually has some nice changes in there too!
The only thing I'm not so keen on personally is changing the sort order of the assets screen, however I totally see why this is super great for many people, so why not change how the info is listed there? At present the System-(Moon)-Station-# Items-#jumps to location is one big long string pretty much as I just typed it, why not put these diferent bits of data into their own columns (like how most of the rest of the ui tends to be arranged when faced with diferent data like this), then we can sort by whichever set we like, to either find our largest piles of worthless junk/nearest anything/specific station because you know pretty much where it appears on the list already |

Will it be possible to add in future a "Market History" graph for items on contracts--IE, "View Market History" for things like, say....CalNavy Invuln Fields--as well as the standard market?

The three things about the UI that are bothering me most right now are:
1) Window position/size memory. Most notably, the Trade window. The way I lay out my hangar and cargo windows masks large portions of the trade window, so I tend to move it up when I'm trading between my characters, which I do a lot of. But then, the next time I trade, it starts out right in the center of the screen again, which is a pain in the ass. Also notable with the item info window, which I regularly resize to view more of, only to have it show up again later in the same annoyingly tiny rectangle in the top left of the screen.
2) Window re-usage. Chaining from number 1: I put my market window somewhere, set the window size and the dimensions of the frames within it how I like it. Later, I open the market with an info window already open in the top left corner and the market window opens in the same space, ruining all my resizing efforts because it's no longer in the middle of the screen and stretched wide the way I like it. This happens with pretty much every useful window in the game. (Note: I do not have "use existing window unless shift is pressed" on. The windows stack, like tabs in modern browsers, not replace each other.)
3) Focus stealing. If I'm typing something in a chat window and I dock, the station services window steals focus and I have to hit spacebar to continue typing. Worse (and far more annoying), if I have a fleet window up at the time, that steals focus and pressing spacebar does *not* put focus back on the chat window. I either have to ctrl+tab or click back in the chat window to continue typing. |

In case the Little Things thread has gotten too long for ya...
* Can't bookmark ("Save Location") stations from neither the system info context menu nor from the station info!
Currently one has to set destination to the station from the station info, then get the context menu for the station from the route. NOT OBVIOUS!
A button to "Save Location" as well as "Set Destination" on station info would also be more obvious.
* Can't clear a route when docked, except from the starmap (and then it takes a few clicks ON THE STARMAP to get a context menu to appear). No context menu appears from clicking around the route! |

As a further extension to the coloured solar systems on 'System > Route' - could you add something similar on the constellation screen for all of the systems in 'Constellation > Related Solar Systems', and the same on the 'System > Adjacent Solar Systems'?

I've been posting this (and seen it posted by other) for ages in threads like 1000 paper cuts and the like, so far no joy.
Let me try again: I do a lot of market stuff, which means having a lot of orders that need to be adjusted. WHY OH WHY do I have to "right-click --> view market details" on every damn one? Can't the (currently) completely useless doubleclick be remapped to do this (meaning "view market details") instead? Why is the "Show Info" on doubleclick pointless in the order list, you ask? Because every line end with a "i" symbol that allows THE SAME THING with a simple single click (and I can't remember ever using that either, btw.).
It would be SO AWESOME if checking orders would no longer involve opening a context menu for every entry, but just doubleclicks! Pretty please :D |

blueprint and ship fittings in quickbar are awesome addition
but something you might want to add is:
in bp specifically and also fittings, same item more then on e, aka turrets or minerals! add the possibility to buy quantity needed of item/minerals "if order can sadisfy" and add a x Y"quantity of fittings/prod run" so that you can just right click the trit in the quickbar of the bp and decide how many runs you want and if 1run needs 5trit, and you select 2runs, it will automatically buy 10!
am I making any sence!?
