Hmmm...I was buying Mexallon in the Metropolis region. There was some, reasonably priced, at my station. But not nearly the amount I wanted. So, I purchased the entire amount listed, being prepared to go on to the next listing. When the screen refreshed, the same order was there, so I bought it again.....and again and again and again. 15 times in all!! All from the same person at the same price and same amount. Even when I bought a smaller amount than the posted amount the sell order amount stayed the same. Looking at the advanced sell order options I cannot figure out a way to do this? I don't think it was a bot because it was too quick and consistent. The seller name didn't appear to be an NPC name. Can anyone clue me in how this is done? -------------------------------------------- Eve Tools - Alliance Tracker

Most likely there was a lower priced sell order for a higher volume in the same station.
Regardless of which order you select when buying your order will always come from the lowest priced order in that station.
So the order was not refilled, you were just buying from a different order.

No there was only two orders in the station. The number of orders never changed from two no matter how many times I bought from the one. I've seen this before, but usually it only lasted for 5 or 6 iterations and then ran out. I got tired of buying after 20 iterations and bought the remainder from the second one with a larger amount for sale. -------------------------------------------- Eve Tools - Alliance Tracker

People ask the same question over and over... and they never accept the answer when it is first given. It's always a player having the magical ability to repost an order instantly.
You were buying from an order you didn't see, perhaps due to a filter, perhaps due to poor eye-site? Who knows. But there was another order you didn't see... or you don't understand what people are telling you. It's hard to tell from what you've posted. But the people here are right, this is not an npc order and it is not a magical gift to insta-post orders, it is you buying items from an order you aren't intending to.

We don't need your crazy logic and your "facts" around here. :P

That'd be very very far from proof. If anything, it'd probably just add emphasis to the reasons everyone is providing you.
Surely the people's reactions to this topic (which has been raised many times before) is proof enough that you're story is a tired old one debunked many times, kinda like the old drunk stumbling into a pub claiming to "Have just seen nessie"

As mentioned, that would not constitute proof, but it would allow someone else to try to duplicate your results, if they were so interested.
Of course,
- since so many such threads end with the OP saying something like "LOL, I forgot I had filters on" or "D'oh! I was so drunk I was selling when I thought I was buying", it's quite likely no one will bother to double check your results; and
- it's also quite possible that even if you were right in your understanding of what was happening (which I doubt in this case), this can no longer verified because the local orders have changed by now anyhow.

Lets try this one last time, if anyone even cares.
Do you know you cannot choose which order you buy from in the same station, that you always buy from the cheapest order, no matter what?

I was going to ask that too, but I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.
