I'd advocate for a little faster than once/month ... but yeah, the daily respawns (at least in empire) are far too high. |

What if the current asteroid belts were scrapped and systems a more generic asteroid belt or two or even three similar to the asteroid belt in our solar system.
Because the asteroid belt is too dangerous to navigate in (I know in reality asteroid belts are very barren and there is far more space than asteroids but just think the good old idea of an asteroid belt) and "Asteroid Clusters" would spawn randomly around the asteroid belt every DT. The number of asteroid clusters would be equal to the number of asteroid belts in the current system. The asteroid clusters would have unique ID's and appear in the overview. As they are in a different location every day would this not make it difficult for bots to operate? |

I agree, belts shouldnt be something that is static but a system that would make more sense would make them work like anomalies. With a survey scanner or similar you could scan down all current belts and warp to them. This adds possibilities of having different spawn rates and amounts depending on security, it adds more function to the mining sov system upgrade and its quite interesting to have scouts fit one of these scanners to find ganks =)
Mining also needs some rare valuable spawns to make it more fun and it would add a second profession to find these belts. Im not talking about bigger ABC belts or etc but something as valuable as finding a faction spawn that gives you quick profit. |

I'd agree with randomly spawning belts every DT. You can't just remove all belts for longer then a day which it currently is otherwise market prices will change and sky rocket. OP just seems to want more fodder for his pirate character in low sec. |

Actually no what I want to see is conflict and fighting over resources by limiting the amount of resources. |

lol no you don't, you want easy kills with less risk and consequences (losing less sec status, no CONCORD goosing your ass with confectinary covered fingers)

Yeah, just want them hulks to go into lowsec. But any idiot knows, hulks are targeted for one reason : They die, very easily. So, the pilots keep them mainly in highsec. But OP doesn't like feeling a big fat LOSER when CONCORD comes after and losing ships which never do show up on isk efficiency loss...always a cheap ship used to gain a fat bonus .
Best fix for mining, just get rid of Barges and Exhumers. Feed minerals from NPC stores at outrageous prices (like 50 million isk rifters ). Problem solved . You will really feel a loss when you lose it, now to convince CCP to use this idea and remove clone updating + no warping offing when aggressing...hehe risk just a whole lot higher |

How does that fix mining .. doesn't even address mining at all.
All you accomplish is antagonize the few legitimate miners in Eve .. bots have no issues with warping to a newly spawned belt, difference would be that they will base in constellation rather than system.
The mining mechanic itself is what needs to change to "fix mining" .. the warp->lock->go for tea concept is as silly now as it ever was, allow for it (AFK mining is "a thing") but introduce an interactive element that provides higher yields/profits/etc. Add a revamp of standings system so that people can get on the good side of the belt rats, buff rats a tad and presto .. protection details for everyone and less tedium/more cash for belt ratters as well as miners. Bonus: With more people in belts rather than 'scan this' sites you get your conflict and encourage smaller roams to boot, it is win-win-win. |
