So whats the deal with the sov losses of Atlas. I know that Goons and company are up there, but i thought their target was SMASH. Is this an internal collapse, or is it forcibly being taken?
Any informed responces would be appreciated

smashkill requested help down south so that they could get more than 250 friendlies in BWF so that crew moved down and now the russians are up north drinking their milkshakes unopposed

There has been no ATLAS control towers sieged as of 'yet' in the drone lands and I would speculate that although there are those in drone lands that would like to see ATLAS dead it may come down to availability of PvP. If the pro-RSF band in the drone lands was to eliminate ATLAS that would be the end of any localized PvP for them aside for turning in on each other (as is often the case). One can also argue the pro-RSF dominance of drone lands would just continue the traditional influx of renters while Solar Fleet hemorrhages isk attempting to hold onto vast areas of space till it can be partitioned off. So I think it really going to come down to who trump who, IRC/ED & XIX being in favor of close to home PvP vs Solar Fleet more than likely looking to continue cleaning out drone lands then move in renter/resident groups to hold/fill the space and generate income.
For reference, it is Goons & TCF in Geminate with the drone land front occupied by a more robust group of forces comprising IRC/ED/KATET/CARPE/XIX/SOLAR FLEET/UNITED LEGION/DIRTNAPSQUAD[former ED].
So in the end ED brought the blob to counter your blob and now you are currently down 3ish freindly stations and **** loads of caps, correct?

This is a major fallback from the "your fall in R-6 is inevitable, contact us to rent your own space back" of a couple weeks ago.
I do however agree somewhat with Bobby though, that it is fun to have enemies on your doorstep and have fights. The problem though is that Smaskills attempt to become a superpower threw everything into imbalance, such as to force ED/XIX/Solar/IRC/KATET to fight for survival.
Honestly, I think Atlas has hitched it's horse to the wrong team, they should quit being a Smashkill pet. Before it's too late.
I don't want to see Bobby leave our region, I like getting on cap killmails :)

How many times do you need to be reminded that RA (In fact your current alliance) broke the POS nap?

The "Solar Dragons" corporation in RA attacked Chaos Incarnate. Solar Dragons then left RA halfway through the attack to make the Solar Dragons / Solar Wing alliances. I'm guessing you're a new recruit ;) |

That was long ago, nobody remembers that I was talking about recent events - such as painting in Solar Dragons blood somebody's mural ( not sure who was it ), bringing FIX,-V-, Legio XIII +++ into picture - That's what i was trying to say - imbalance + big mouth (threw in Peoke just for fun )

What tower would that be? You also see the 'yet' part? that reserves the open ended aspect of the statement to imply that it may change.
Further, there is nothing in my statement about anyone biting off more than they could chew; you are inept and need to learn how to read.
Finally, what happened in ED space was a campaign of provocation and innuendo - it worked, it got us the fights we were hoping for, in the end perhaps a much larger one than anticipated but nevertheless a fight. You can wrong and smack us as a coalition all you want but at the end of the day we bring the fight no matter the circumstances and will continue to do so to whatever end this conflict reaches.

In order to get you guys out to fight there had to be the realistic intention that your space was at threat (ED space) as prior to that you guys just refused to fight or would do so few and far between. In the end the 10 day ED campaign was one of absolute carnage and much fun had by many.
This topic however has been beaten to death so think of it what you will.

YES ALTLAS IS YOUR PET, Atlas was form under Smash and Roadkill, keep in mine I once lives in the drone regions in early day and SMASHKILL was the bullies in the drone regions making Alliances merged the way they see fit. I recall well what happen to the OXIDE Alliance, you attacked a weak alliance to make it merge with your pet Atlas, instead OXIDE decided to stay and fight, by that time I was apart of GOONS, so this is sweet as honey to be returning to kick Smashkill and its Pets from these regions. There are not many friends left isn't it, you guys now see just how many people really hated you all. YOUR BULLY DAYS ARE OVER!!!!!!! and take your damn pets with you please!

Edited by: Bobby Atlas on 02/06/2008 02:00:30 ATLAS was an alliance before we moved to drone lands, SMASHKILL does not dictate our recruiting policies. ATLAS made an offer to OXIDE apart from everyone else and despite OXIDE untimely departure from drone lands we maintained a good relationship after they left with many former OXIDE members no filling the ranks across ATLAS & RK.
Finally, it was not us (smashkill/atlas/ci) that precipitated the conflict in OXIDE space but rather was one spearheaded by IRON and then IVC (now merged into IRON). If anyone stands accountable for the fall of OXIDE it is IRON, as OXIDE was a long standing friend of IRON's who helped them in some dire times up north.
