Your opinion please...

wellllll aside from lazorzzz (which i honestly cant see any reason to use on vexor) do you REALLY need 80km control range for lvl 2? Drop drone link imho. Also im a big fun of small repper + big plate but its your ass out there :) Consider using web instead of TP sometimes. its just personal prefference however. And if you can shoot canons for eternity without CPR drop it too for EANM/DC. You dont need to be capstable with repper on lvl 2, several minutes will do, and if u go 1600mm way youll certainly kill any1 before your buffer will deplete at least half. P.S. And i do hope you use T2 med drones. if not - train the asap. ---- Drones eat everything. Trust me. |

drop a laser and fit a tractor beam, I assume your mostly using lasers due to your skills ? otherwise I'd use rails but your call, should be mute as the drones are doing the work
Mids, ABII, CAP Recharger, CAP Recharger
Lows - personal choice 800mm plate, MARII, rat specific hardeners
and if your in with serpentis rates then I think you want hobgoblins and hammerheads, rather than vespas, unless something changed recently, a rack of 5 hammerheads should blitz a serp rat level 2

Why? Thermal damage is good against them, no?

Edited by: Umar Khattab on 02/06/2008 21:04:31 OK so:
Middle slots: 10mn Afterburner II Target Painter I Eutectic I Capacitor Charge Array
Low slots: Medium Armor Repairer II Adaptive Nano Plating II 800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Damage Control II
Drones: Hammerheads II
For the High Slots, I keep the lasers (personal preference), but for the other slots, I could forget about the Tractor beam and the Salvager until lvl 3 missions, right? As I've been told, the drone Link augmentor is also useless. I could also drop one laser for a Medium remote repair... But what else could I fit in those empty high slots? Thankee dudes.

You say you use the pulses due to personal preference, but seriously, medium rails, or blasters, would be so much better.
You get better damage because A) the Vexor gets a medium hybrid damage bonus and B) the kinetic and thermal damage from hybrids matches the Serpentis resistance holes, whereas they are strong to EM, the pulses main damage type.
Also, pulses use more cap.

I know my friend, you're right, but I have no skills at all for Hybrids, so it's going to be Pulses or Autos. Autos use no cap, have a great falloff and good amos, while lasers are gonna suck some cap (not so much though, with only 3) but I'm going to have a better tracking and a nice range control, switching crystals. And as T2 drones are the ones doing serious damage, the guns, anyway, or more a kind of support, to middle-snipe rats and to pop fast b*tches coming too close.
I have a question, the Target painter is more important whith Autos than Beams, right?

Edited by: Kasutra on 03/06/2008 01:32:42 Between your T2 Hammers, lasers being optimal for neither Serpentis rats nor a Vexor, and you wanting to salvage as you go (I see tractor/salvager as a possibility in your highs), I suspect you will end up dropping your guns and going all-out with salvage gear sooner or later. The lasers will not be doing much but grabbing aggro (which might be a reason to leave one gun on, actually) and giving you something to do while the drones take care of the actual business. =/
