John Blackthorn Foundation R0ADKILL	Posted - 2008.06.01 22:35:00 - [1] I'd like to say that the fight for Geminate is far from over and Goons have done quite a few things correct and SmashKill have done quote a few things wrong here of late. But unlike many other alliances we learn from our mistakes, adapt and move on. You can not break our will to fight nor break us a part so you have a moment of trump much like we had our moment when the goon titan was destroyed. There quite a bit of fighting yet to happen. So for those curious that are not part of this fight you might ask what went wrong? A couple of things. Stront timers were still set for late u.s. time due to our previous fights with Trimvart, and even then after we tried to fix that my corp as well as others still made mistakes on the timers. This is also the first time we have had to fight titans in our home systems, and goons would dd through our jump bridge pos's shields. Was a good lesson for us and we have changed our policies for the next batch of fights. The use of Goon spy's is something else.. I'm not sure I can get a gang of 12 together without one spy in gang chat :P And lag, wow the lag in bwf has been horriable. It's just not fun to fight over a system that lags so bad that most people just talk in t.s. about how long it takes to activate a module.. wait 5 mins you might get a module activated... Don't know how the large fights down south could happen, I can't imagin goons putting up with lag like this for several years. BWF must be running on the same node of jita or something :P -John

I'd also like to say that personally I have enjoyed my experience in BWF. Although from your point of view the lag has been very bad -and I can sympathize to some degree- from my point of view the lag compared to the hour(s) long black screens common to the war in the South has been minimal for the most part. Maybe you could answer a question for me that's been bugging me since before the start of this campaign. Why are SMASH and Roadkill such close friends? You guys are going to be extra-good for this since about 80 alliances live in this ****hole region and you all make RISE look like the pinnacle of competency while still using their same terminology about will and unity and all that good stuff that holds great alliances like LV and RISE together.

When we wardeced you (when i was in PV) and fight was for example in Airaken (hisec anyway), some of your people was allways agrooing concord (a bit suicide but in rookie ships np) to increase lag, because without it you cant win (even with ships count 3:1 to you). Now you talking that 5 minutes lag its not fun heh... So: when you are winning - lag is ok, but when you are loosing - lag is bad and you loose only because of lag
