So this kid bullied another kid, and this is what his mother did Linkage
Maby if more parents did this, we'd have less kids going bad.

It seems like good punishment but not toward the right kid.
Let's say maybe he really did "bully" someone, but come on, he looks harmless.
Looks like your typical nerdy kid type, just doing kid stuff. You know how kids do.
Plus, this kind of punishment wouldn't work on any of the actual little thug bastards that do cause problems. They'd just run off and tell their moms to gently caress themselves.
At least we know for sure that after this, he'll be the joke of the school.
And from this stunt his mom decided to pull, chances are he'll seclude himself for a few years, be an outcast, and eventually go columbine.
Good jorb.

Edited by: Amastat on 02/06/2008 10:46:41 Edited by: Amastat on 02/06/2008 10:42:17 Too many people are saying harmless. When was the last bully you saw that was not deceptive and would use their parents as a tool to let them bully - the kind that get babyed by their parents.
I lost count of how many *******s I've came across throughout school were were completely *******s, or just nasty people, and they were deceptive like that.
Looks are deceiving - you don't need to look a certain way to commit a crime. Actions speak louder then words or stereotypes.
The kid did a lot of things, so that was the punishment. Just because he acts sad and mopey and it makes him look somewhat cute and innocent doesn't make him that - because he isn't, that's why he's wearing that sign.
Unless his mother is sick and abusive and did this for no reason, then there's nothing wrong with that punishment. That's a lot better then beating a kid with a stick really.
Some may say that's too harsh, or spanking a kid is too harsh - even though most parents do that with their kids, for a long time, and they eventually turn out just fine. It's only in excess and repeated over and over, will it screw a kid up. You also have kids that are more sensitive then others, some overly sensitive, so you have to take that into consideration.
Whereas you have a seemingly normal kid you scold for misbehaving, they eventually learn from it.
But if you scold a autistic and/or depressed kid, it's complete torture to them sometimes - and it will be with them for the rest of their lives. But then of course that creates another problem, you can't effectively scold the kid and teach them because of this - but you can't scold them too much or you will mentally disturb them even further and put them through a lifetime of pain. ____________________

That mother deserves a freaking medal. I believe that the problem with western society is that we have become so 'civilised' that we have simply forgotten how to PUNISH people. I'd say about 90% of us are rational people who just wanna live our lives, but the remaining 10% will always be lacking in the brain department, and so some kind of pain, whether it be a blow to their body, mind or ego, should become routine for troubled youths.

There was a father that did this to his son a while back also and I applaud them both. I keep coming across these videos of teens and youngers kids being total ****s and I wonder what the hell is happening to this world.
