Currently using a passive rattlesnake for lvl 4 missions, know that the CNR does more dps etc but don't really care got bored with it so using the rattle now :) Plus I like the missile velocity bonus and can use torps when in a group. Basically this is my fit and was looking for advice to improve and was wondering if I fit out with DG/CN invuls etc is it likely that ill be a suicide gank target (got bout 25k shields with current fit)? also whats the thoughts on shield rechargers in the mids compared to the extenders etc also t2 rigs? Have done most missions bloackade, wc, the extrav's etc with no real probs. So basically any thoughts? :)
High 6x Cruise Launchers II 1x Drone range extender 1x Tractor Beam
Mediums 3x Large Shield Extender II 2x Mission Specific Hardeners II 1x Invul II
Lows 3x SPR II 3x CN BCU
Rigs 3x Core Defence Field Purgers (recharge ones)

I am not a Rattlesnake Pilot, not even a Caldari Pilot for that matter, but I wonder about one thing in all the Rattlesnake Fittings. Why is no one using the Hybrid Weapon Bonus. A pair of Blasters for Close Range or some 425mm Railguns for Sniping Frigates and a little extra punch at all other distances?

Some people do fit railguns for PvE, but utility slots are nice and most Caldari pilots do not want to train up hybrids or Gallente BS very far.
For PvP, I'm sure the slots are used for neuts or NOS rather than a pair of blasters. Never seen a rattlesnake in pvp though.
Edit: Oh yeah original posts setup is fine. IIRC, best named cruise launchers are better than t2 and you could always fit a faction invuln field.

Don't have the hybrids skills with the char I use so not an option but would be interesting :)
btw by 'best named' cruise launchers take it u mean faction and not named - as t2 is better than the arbe launchers with the spec skill trained.
