Edited by: Elhina Novae on 03/06/2008 17:09:15 Edited by: Elhina Novae on 03/06/2008 17:08:12 Well occasionally i get these sexy missions called Angel Extravaganza and WC with Angels/Sansha. Now i fly in my Apoc which does great, but has a real hard time against angels, since I am a Amarr toon and fly an Apoc for missions.
What I am looking for is a good ship that can kill Angels easily and even Serpentis. Is Raven my choice or are there other options?
And is this a viable Raven setup?
6 x 'Malkuth' Siege Missile Launcher I
1 x X-Large Shield Booster (best named) 3 x Active Hardeners I 2 x Cap Recharger II
2 x Power Diagnostic System II 3 x Ballistic Control System II
3 x CCC I
Is this a good setup and should i be doing Angels/Serpentis easily? And on a side note, what would be required to do that last crazy room in Angel Extravaganza?
EDIT: Yes this setup is EFT whoring btw since i know **** about Caldari and Launchers ^^ Somebody set up us the bomb |

You'll probably want some velocity rigs, your torps aren't going to go very far at all.

the max range you can get with t1 torps is a lil bit over 30km and, no offense meant, i doubt you will even come close to that. You don't have a means of closing the gap to the rats fast (ie an ab) and thus would spend ages to chase seraphims that orbit at 37km. Better use cruise missiles, this will of course lower your dps but you can even hit cruisers for high damage and are good to shoot at anything within targeting range. The tank looks sturdy enough as i assume you have the cap skills to run it for a couple of mins, you may want to consider replacing the pdu's with cfc's tho which will raise the time you can sustain your tank quite a lot while lowering the maximum dps you could ideally tank negligibly. An Alternative, at least for wc would be an apoc with 2 cruiselaunchers, that is enough to kill the 4 angel rats in the last stage pretty fast with help from your drones and would not require you to crosstrain as much. for ae amarr ships are generally not too great tho and the raven should do fine, although you may have trouble soloing the bonus room with subpar missile skills as you might not be able to kill quick enough to get this done without warpouts. you might consider loosing a recharger there and fit an additional shield boost amplifier as well as 2 heavy nos. then you can run the tank as long as you can drain (which should be good enough as most of the stuff you have to kill at first orbit within nos range)
setup:
6x cruise launcher 2x heavy nos
1x XL booster 1x boost amplifier 3x hardener 1x cap recharger
2x pdu 3x bcu
3x ccc
oh and your setup isn't eft whoring, those require at least t2 rigs, cn launchers, bcus and invus and a deadspace booster

A pretty dam good one tbh. You gotta tank Exp/Kin/Therm from the rats plus Thermal cruise batteries. Lots of initial dps.
