Sorting of requests in forms is not a browser problem. HTML simply does not define the order. You should be able to sort the submitted keys yourself. ;)

hmm, I guess your .gzip is corrupted either by mail or by the link posted here (better result by mail but incomplete decompression with winrar).
Could you resend it please ? ; )

The .SQL-file's size is 1'422'958 bytes.
Since the file is not corrupted (either mail or above link - double checked both), I guess your winrar has problems decompressing gzip files. (That dump was created by phpMyAdmin and can be reimported directly.) I made you a zip: http://users.quick-line.ch/ebimages/eve/eve-online-2004-12-31.zip (300 KB)

I've found a good way to do this is to run Eve under the logserver. Then you just have to show info on any characters, corps, items, etc, that you want the ID for, and it will show up in the logserver.
the whoie? where's this logserver?

The logserver is a small .exe program that resides within your main eve directory.
It should be executed prior to starting eve, and a new wor process started. Then start eve in the normal method.
After you have finished testing, please save and zip and logfile, and attach to any BugReports you submit, with accurate reproduction steps for any bugs you have encountered.

Edited by: Nomispanco on 04/01/2005 12:40:12 here's a little test for the large jumping tables.
http://mfrey.ch/test/jumpingtabletest.php
Increase the rows until the table begins to jump around if you scroll down to bottom and then up to the top of the page.
If there are 16 or more rows the table will jump around. But it has nothing to do with the number of rows. More the whole table height is the problem i think. if a row is heigher than the "standard" the table will jump around earlier.
regards Nomi
EDIT: It seems that all large objects (images for example) shows the same behavior

This is really annoying and keeps me from publishing my page.
Once the table starts to jump, if you're lucky you still can click on a link within (most times not). Reloading the page helps as long as you don't scroll down and back up.
And now for something completely different: I have a table which is ok in web browsers as the columns fit the text (no fixed table), but in IGB columns on the left are far wider (50%+ wider than necessary), leaving the two columns on the right too little space to be displayed without linewrap.
http://tinoga.dyndns.org/arena/20041219.html Shouldn't columns without any width attribute just fit the text? -----

About the jumpingtables. There's a quite simple workaround for this: Just make a new table every 10 row. This works mostly if you dont have a to large text ;)

Hi, I am having problems with trusted sites. Even when they add my website to trusted sites, the moment they open home page they get a message that website is not trusted. I dont think it is a problem with code, because it works fine for other ppl. Is it possible it is some internet seucrity setting?

How about this: <form action="showinfo:684" method="post"> <input type="submit" name="Show Info" value="Show Info"> </form>
Thanks Traveler! I didn't know that would work. :)

can whe have a setdestination tag for the IGB ???
using solarSystemID as destination, so you can't exploit it.
I've make a post in another thread, but doesn't know if you, traveler, will read it.
Ex :
<a href="setdestination:XXXXX">Systeme Yulai</a> or : <a href="setdestination:XXXXX">Station Name</a>
Another question, is ID unique il ALL the game ???
i explain : the id in solarSystemID can't have the same number as an item, or a ship, or an agent ???

I am not allowed to implement new features atm. Write a feature request (bug report) to remind me to add this.
All IDs in EVE are unique.

Actually, that option is almost there in the showinfo-tag: Rightclick on <a href="showinfo:5//30003798">show info</a> gives you the option to Set destination or Add waypoint.
Needs two clicks (right, left) but it does what you want. -----

Edited by: Ramov Tinoga on 25/01/2005 22:21:44 I encountered this quite a while ago but I didn't report it (because I supposed it was rather not supported than a bug).

Could be an old bug.. Delete the first line (doctype....) and look if it works after that... Also make shure there isn't a blank line in the beginning.

Big Bug appears recently :
If a listbox is in a web page like this : <select><option>essai</option></select>
The background of the page is cleaned by the background of the listbox.
See ingame sample here : Web Page without listbox (and without bug) : http://terrano.free.fr/phpBB2/ingame/index.php
Web Page with listbox (and with bug) : http://terrano.free.fr/phpBB2/ingame/groupcp.php
Please correct this bug quickly because he make IGB functionality not usefull. :(

Edited by: Strikeman on 02/02/2005 21:45:05 wow I post too fast ... should check things first.
So, basically, this is what I found out:
after the last patch, the speed of rendering tables has increased a little bit. which is cool.
but (damn)
something is broken now using an input field (simple input=text will do) INSIDE a <td> slows the process down A LOT. A LOT as in browser-locking-game-freezing-takes-2-minutes alot. This is a new one, as it certainly wasn't like that before the patch ;-)
almost had the website ready, now this problem
