I have been researching all the available backstory I can find specifically on the Tash-Murkon and Udorians. Right now I am going through the bits in past news stories, and the organization information. I do not recall reading any chronicles, short stories, or seeing any specific mention of them in the online novellas. (Please correct me if I am wrong here, I may have over looked or forgotten something.) But I would greatly appreciate any pointers toward more information, particularly regarding the Udorian bloodline and their society. They are mentioned in the Amarr timeline, and in the Tash-Murkon family corps description but not elaborated on much other then they are one of the peoples from the Amarr home world who were conquered and intergrated like the Ni-Kunni in the Reclaiming period before the Amarr ruled the entire planet and developed space flight.
I'm hoping to get a good enough idea of the official material to write up somethings to start a heavy RP corporation around, Thanks. / "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC - 479 BC.) |

You might check here, particularly in the bookshelf section. I think PIE has a really good compilation of Amarr PF as well which is linked there. |

Tash-Murkon is the family that replaced Khanid II after he left the empire. He is the more practical-business oriented of all the heirs. Some feel he 'bought' his way into the role of a royal heir, but that is up for debate. Should be plenty of news stories on some of these issues you can dig up. The PIE link should be most helpful.

Catiz Tash-Murkon is a woman though. I know the Eve back story story Organization section has a picture of a man. But if you look up the actual character, whom is listed as 'Catiz Tashmurkon' (I guess it does not like a hyphen in names. There is also what looks like an alt with a near name as well.) You see her picture, and she is also mentioned as a woman under the Amarrian heirs in the Backstory section. |

IIRC Davit Tash-Murkon (Catiz's daddy) is the one pictured on the Eve Online website. He committed Shathol'syn (or whatever the ritual suicide is called) after the trials a few years ago.
I'm not sure where it's mentioned, but Catiz is supposed to be a ruthless and capable leader, dedicated not only to legitimizing her house in the eyes of all those snooty True Amarr nobles, but also to making the Tash-Murkon region into an economic powerhouse. She is also supposed to be a champion of liberal Amarrians, and the Tash-Murkon region is one of the more (if not the most) cosmopolitan regions of the Empire, IIRC.
The Udorians got rolled into Amarr society so long ago that I kinda doubt that too many of their customs and cultural idiosyncracies survive, but you probably have a bit of leeway to just make stuff up as long as it isn't stupid or unimaginative.
Given that the Tash-Murkon are still looked down upon by the snobbiest blue-bloods in the Empire, I would say that they are probably pretty big on intermarriage with True Amarr families. Especially those with good pedigrees and money trouble. I decided on this when developing a history for my character, whose family the Abai are a very very old True Amarr dynasty with a recent history (the past 500-600 years) of mismanagement and fiscal insecurity. Ravin's father basically sold Ravin's aunt into marriage with a Tash-Murkon relative (not a royal, but close to it) in exchange for vast quantities of money and a wealthy solar system. The Abai used to be bannermen of the Kor-Azor, to whom they are very distantly related (like fourth cousins twice removed or something), but after they married into the Tash-Murkon family, their seat moved to the newly-christened system of Abai, located 2 or 3 jumps from TMP.
If I were you, I would look at making a more liberal-minded corporation with at least some focus on industry and/or commerce. You could also look at heavily cultivating relationships with the Caldari, Ammatar and Khanid, as this is good for business. On the other hand, you can't risk alienating the more traditional Amarr, so you're going to have to keep on your toes in order to preserve the veneer of legitimacy the Tash-Murkon currently possess.
It looks like you have your work cut out for you, good luck.
