This is why you only fly fully insured T1 fit, T1 ships. Tech 2 stuff will just get you primaried and you'll die faster than you notice you were locked.
Pro-tip: Leave a hislot open for a Salvager and you can make a profit off all the wrecks. You shouldn't have any real loss though. _____________ Hai. |

You can still do everything you used to do! All it means is that your now in a war. Which means that if the other milita find you were ever you are(even high sec of your militia space) they can attack you without reprocusion. This just makes it more interesting, set up safe spots if your going mission and just make sure your aligned 100% of the time. Also just keep an eye out on local. So i hear there's no line to break sigs so your reading this cause I put it in to look like part of my post! |

Faction warfare is just like any other kind of pvp, you're going to take losses and get near-zero income from it. You can still do level 4 missions on your militia character, I've met some who did with their carebear alts.
If you want to support the war effort without losing isk, you can do something like scouting with a covert ops which is pretty low-risk. You can also do it in a well-flown intercepter.

play it smart and I'm sure there's lots of opportunity to profit from the pvp, just don't fly excessively expensive ships or get killed doing stupid stuff ╟

yes FW wont drain your wallet unless you sit there and dont fire a shot, kills should be easy tbh, go to the Tama system or the Huola/Kourmenen(?) system, lots of FW pilots there
and dont go in your faction fitted BS, go in a cruiser, maybe BC, t1 fit and blast away and loot the wrecks that are generated, as i said, go to Tama or Huola, wrecks are a plenty, id say around 1200-1400kills in Tama since FW came out, seems to be a slaughter house in that system

The whole point of it is to have a nice, big war going on with a LOT of targets ... and also to make factions mean something for once (for those who want them to mean something).
Sign up at any Caldari station in high sec. The war zones are *very* close to Gallente and Caldari high sec, so getting to them doesn't take long.
And the other advice here is sound. Fly T1 and insure. Or fly an interceptor (if you can do it well) or covert ops frigs/recons, which again if you know what you are doing are less risky. But definitelt go T1 and insure ... your losses will be minimal, and because of that you'll be more inclined to jump into a fight. ---------------------------

depends on what you are flying, and if you win or lose..
If you lose, yea you will be outta isk. If you win... well, Lets say I have looted several faction items of caldari wrecks.
