I suspect Jamyl Sarum will turn out to be another Enheduanni sleeper agent. Like that slave at the start of Theodicy, along with that Gallente Senator whom got himself killed later on in the novella. I also think Tibus Heth is one, and that Admiral Noir may have been one as well. And the novel will basically be about how the Enheduanni engineer the whole war on all sides to further their plot. Just my best guess though given the recent source material from the news and the PF. / "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC - 479 BC.) |

The Enheduanni are just a hallucination the Jove was suffering from due to some bad boosters, they aren't real.

Makes sense, specially since Theodocy hinted at the Enheduanni attempting to turn the empires on each other.

I'm actually hoping I am wrong. And that it turns out that the Jove made all that stuff up in Theodicy to mess with that strung out Gallente, and then laughed his head off about it on the way back to their space.
But it really seems like the only plausible way to have Jamyl Sarum come back from the dead, after a whole lot of player character folks saw her commit suicide. Or explain how she is suddenly made the hero of the week, and everyone is fawning to have her made Empress. / "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC - 479 BC.) |

I think it is more likely 'sleeper' agents would be in the "Speakers of Truth" as an ironic sort of thing. Or one of the many religious factions that have more prestige and say in the day to day events of how the empire is run when there is no emperor, especially when there is greedy and easy to manipulate humans already falling over themselves to be in the flow.
When does the book come out anyway I want to read most of it before the boards fill with spoilers. (I think the enheduanni have sleepers in marketing )

There are no such thing as Enheduanni. Seriously, it's like Highlander 2, it never happened. You can't un-repress my memories of that abomination of an addition to Eve lore, I can't hear you, lahlahlahlahlah.

Edited by: Uilliam Nebel on 16/06/2008 19:04:39 Well there is also another idea that comes to mind, which would be very cool of a twist. The real Jamyl Sarum is the one that has returned, and that she was disposed by the Enheduanni, while the one whom people saw commit suicide was the sleeper agent. It would rock if she was nothing like the past, and is actually a decent person with interest toward the humanities and progression like the previous two Emperors. But I'm not holding my breath on this theory. / "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC - 479 BC.) |

Actually you are completely 100% wrong. Jamyl Sarum is the wondrous and mysterious Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Bow down and cater to your master. __________________________________________________
