the CFC now own round about 300 mother ships and 90 titans.
Other alliances in 0.0 can field atleast the same
They hardly ever get destroyed but they are built in relatively large numbers.
CCP.... you must see where the end-game is going. Even now we're having more and more supercap fights that end in a stalemate. something has to be done or the null-sec game will end in stalemate......
Is "stalemate" the CCP vision for the ultimate null-sec end game? Part of me doubts it .. and yet part of me doesn't see any movement to change it either.......
I understand and support CCP's idea that sov-grinding in null-sec should be done with caps and supercaps. A POS can be incapped in a couple of minutes... a station in 10-15. that's a good thing and the main role for dreads and supers. This is posititive because it makes sov-warfare a "dynamic" and there is everything good about that.
But when supers can also be used for ship-to-ship combat and ensure that equally sized (or ANY size) sub-cap fleets are essentially neutered.... then we have a problem.
1) I would recommend a change to super caps to increase tracking to the point that (a) they have a statistically insignificant chance of hitting a cruiser or smaller and (b) their damage is multiplied by 4x so when they *do* hit.. they hit *really* hard.
2) they can be pointed.. no more ECM immunity.
That way structures will drop like a stone and even small alliances have a chance of taking a station.... but we'll see an end to gate camps with 50 titans killing a drake.

I'm presuming when you talk about tracking you're talking about titans, right? Supers, when loaded with bombers, already do very little damage to subcaps. A large sub cap fleet can take on supers almost with impunity.
Titans, however, are a little different. But in order to track those drakes and tengus the titans must be purely gank fitted, and have ridiculously low EHP for how valuable an asset they are. The issue with this isn't them then hitting those cruisers and BCs, it's the fact that once they become primary they can swap their fits to tank.
IMHO combat refitting needs to be looked at for titans and SCs, maybe by preventing refitting when the ships are locked.
I disagree with removing ECM immunity though, I agree with CCPs idea of introducing super capital points to the game and allowing certain ships to fit them (like other supers), but allowing *anything* to point a super would be a massive nerf. -áhttp://i.imgur.com/aWNfM.jpg |

Personally, I think that the easiest and most basic change would be to give titans the same tracking penalty that sieged dreads get, to make it infeasible to track subcaps in the first place. Throw in making them able to be EWARed by EAFs and I think there would be much less issues with people complaining about supercaps (and also a massive surge in EAF prices, especially the Keres, lol). |

Yes we have been over this a bunch of times and the real problem is in combat refitting, fix that, fix supercaps. |

lol no, stop forming up rifter fleets and shouting into your vent "Red 5,standing by!" while looking for 2 meter thermal vents.
Cause you are an idiot. A single titan, cannot ******* take on, a single ******* cruiser. HOLY CRAP BATMAN! Its true, they cannot shoot a properly orbiting cruiser gettng under its guns so they are infact balanced around their inability to hit sub cap ships. And you whiney forum rebels also got the TIE fighters drones removed, double bonus!
But poor little QQ-tonians from Planet X, don't relize that titans don't come in a singles and they got their own Imperial fleet of Star Destroyers backing them up while lacking your own Deathstars Capital Ships to counter them, so it has got to be the pilot of titan's fault that you lost amirite ?
Pro-tip: Titan's know, that you can't kill their condom thin hulls because you lack cap ships / don't train cap ships / don't have friends with cap ships, so they also get their back up to web the **** out of you. And BANG! Headshot to the Knee from a blaster bolt! Thats how you lose, cause a single titan, as mentioned, cannot take on a single cruiser or even a full fleet of cruisers (if its keeping under its guns). Have a titan solo, even fully kit out in max tank with the best officer mods out their, with no choice of self destruct....yes even 250 T1 fail fit cruisers could take it out given enough time.
So, Titans are fine as. The refiting on the fly...yeah that needs to be addressed cause having saved fits was obviously a Good Idea(tm) Take some good old american hickory baseball bat across the front of the knee to that issue, you will see more titans fitting back into their propper role and less backhanding cruisers. |

I know. I just want to make sure that CCP doesn't forget that the latest nerf didn't fix the main problem, which is that they are being produced by the hundreds and killed by the tens.
