This post is in response to a request above about how can a suspended account which doesn't have enough isks be re-activated.
How To - Reactivate a suspended 2nd account which doesn't have enough isks:
Transfer the isks from your wealthy account to the suspended account. To do this you should send it to the character on the suspended account, for example SuspenShon.
When buying the GTC you simply tell the seller the character name on the suspended account, example is SuspenShon. The character must be the same character whom you sent the isks too.
Now login to this website in the Account section, it must be the Account section because often you will be denied access to the forums if the account has expired.
From the Accounts page you should see in Common Tasks a new icon and text that says something like "Someone has made you an offer of a GTC in game, click here". Click it.
Check the offer, are the days and the amount of isks as agreed? If so then accept it and your account is now active.
Not Enough Isks on your active account buy you have enough on your expired account? This is easier, you are already good to go so long as the seller will make the offer to your expired character who has the isks. |

Sue Zuki, very nicely done!
I want to add to your last example. As a seller, I don't need to know or even care if the character I making the offer to has an active account or not. If a player agrees to pay my price and gives me a character name that Eve will accept as a valid character name, it's done.
There are a lot of sellers who don't know how the whole thing works and mentioning an expired account might spook away some from making a sell offer.
I will add that whomever the buyer is, please buyers, accept the sell offer as soon as possible. I don't like to miss a sale to a real buyer because a price protester wants to grief me by keeping me waiting for a long time for an acceptance when no acceptance was ever intended. It happens a lot. I generally keep my offers open for about 10 minutes and I never run anyone down in the game or at a restaurant or wherever.
Thanks from a tired GoGo Gurl

Hi All.
To GoGo Curl and every other sellers eventually...
You've talked about buyers try to grief you... posting fakes sellings trying to keep prices down... or something alake.
Then can you (sellers) explain to me, and to all other buyers actually, why are sellers placing fake "WTB" posts with very high prices so they can get their "WTS" prices even higher? is just a question... or can you or other seller explain to me, why the GTC's prices keep getting higher in forum (ISK) while GTC's prices in authorized Resellers (Euros/Dollars/wat ever) are cheaper then ever before?
And finally...
I like to play EVE Online and whenever i can (and want to), i'll buy GTC's in forum for ISK... but then again, as u are (i think so) a tough seller, i most certainly are a tough buyer, so if i actually see the prices too much high, i'll prefer to buy a GTC to an authorized reseller then from you sellers (in forum) as i see this all thing is not moved by market influences but moved by the sellers greed.
Big hugh to everybody :)) and sorry for my poor English...

Hi Dave,
Your English is fine!
The Fake WTBs with the high prices are exactly what I was talking about. I don't think they are posted to drive up prices. Only two things drive up prices in an open market like the forum - those willing to sell and those willing to buy.
I've sent offers to sell to ridiculously high WTB posts and that ties up the GTC preventing it from being offered to anyone else unless I cancel it or the buyer rejects it or 48 hours pass. I invented my very own ten minute cancellation rule because of these ridiculously high fake WTB posts.
Greed may be why some sell anything in high demand, GTCs, Volvos, sex.
One thing is certain in every transaction - one is willing to sell and another is willing to buy. Take away either of those two things and there is no sale.
You mention you have the means to buy from a reseller, unlike most of the buyers on the forum. I suggest you buy a few GTCs and sell them for what you think would not be a "greedy" price. The only thing that will bring a price down in a open market is more supply.
Countries which have tried controlled prices usually have lots of empty shelves and lines because there is little incentive for the producers of the goods to produce. As I mentioned before, I only sell when the going price makes it worth my while to go through the process.
I'll make this promise to you - I will never sell a GTC at a price higher than the buyer is willing to pay. So which one of us is to blame?
In a free market, the price a seller pays to obtain his product does not put an upward limit on the price at which he can sell it. The only upward limit on a price in a free market is the willingness of the buyer to pay. Just like you, if everyone found the forum price too high and they all went to a reseller to buy it for the same price I pay for it, then the forum would shut down.

Is there any way to buy 60 day gtc's off CCP via the EVE site for selling?
CCP already have my credit card details, I would prefer buying straight off them. 3rd party gtc sellers dont appeal to me much. |

Is it possible, after completing a contract with someone for a PLEX item, that you can activate it through the assets menu? As in, not have to be IN the station the PLEX is contained in to actually USE the PLEX?
