I bought 2550 shares from a guy called "thewhite suitedman" for 200mill. He said he owned a copr that produced battleships etc. well payout of dividends was supposed to be the 15th of June but i have yet to see any. A matter of fact i can't find thewhite suitedman. Does anyone know this guy or corp. Can you help? Can i petition ccp if i got ripped off? all these questions are swirling in my mind cause for me 200 mill is a lot of money. I was interested in getting into the stock market and he was shouting in locals so i took him up on his offer. Figured if you shout in local for business you gotta have some clout. well i hope someone can help me figure out whats going on. thanks

His thread is very active there right now, you can find it here: Thewhite Suitedman Scaming
And, in general, anybody shouting anything in local is either a scammer, a scammer doing scam contracts, or a person selling actual contracts...oh, or a recruiter for a lousy corp.

I think he has deleted his character, to make a new one to scam with - at least, that's what he said he was going to do. You need to be a lot more cautious in this game - always double check contracts, don't give money to strangers, and if they're shouting out offers in local it's probably *because* they're scammers.
You can't petition CCP, as this is accepted as a part of the game - unless it is related to hacking, real world money trading, bugs, that sort of thing. In your case, you don't have any recourse other than to take it as a hard lesson learned :(
Google his name to find his thread.

Or someone else trying to scam, since Uglor is a character with standings. I thought his post sounded suspicious too...insincere. I could point out why, but that would be giving tips :)

Too funny, (not the scam, but the post). Uglor is probably an alt of this suited man. Maybe he wasn't getting enough attention in C&P, but even people who are as clueless as Uglor pretends to be in his first post don't like to portray themselves as being that stupid to others. Especially after they've just been taken.

Agreeing with this ^
I've never seen such a blatant cry-out for attention.
His claims are only verified up to 200 mil, too. 15 bil? Where? Didn't even bother to photoshop a screenshot of his wallet.
If 15 bil is winning EVE, myself and many others in the market forums alone have won EVE a hundred times over.
I personally don't mind people flaunting a bit (hey, I love to tell people I have multiple hundreds of billions of ISK all the time, in fact I just did, hurray)... But his post is written so poorly.
Not only that, but the excessive use of comments like, "don't drink while you read this!!!!" and focusing more on how "funny" the story is rather than the story itself... It's just sad at that point.
Just wait until eve-scam.com is finished.
You will quickly discover the difference in what this person has to offer (and many others like him, for example R0ME0), and what I have to offer.
Exciting times.
It should be fun for the whole family!

thank you all for your information. It was what i wanted and i got more than what i imagined.
The lessons learned here are simple: 1) Don't trust everyone--for the sake of trust alone! 2) Think rationally before handing over hard earned isk. 3) Don't let one cold person spoil my love for the human race. 4) Continue to feel and if the feelings are too painful..take a break. 5) If someone wants to burn/hurt/take advantage of me in the future..allow them...but set a limit to how much i want to allow my self to get burned/hurt/taken. 6) Take more time researching the wonderful minds found in the forums! 7) Smile, hug, love everyone------even if they carry a dagger by their side.
Peace, and thanks again for the info on this guy.
