prolly posted a million times already but i cant find it .
why the hell can we not activate hardener modules in station. i want to see what resists my current set up are offering i have to undock everytime i make a change or use a third party program to pre plan it . how ghay tbh.
now where would be the harm in letting us activate hardeners in station.. the fitting window can show your resist changes in real time as it works in space. i can only prosume theres issues with obvious things like running reppers whilst docked or shooting your guns but make it hardeners only and we can all be happy forever and ever .

I'd asked this same question weeks ago.
The stats listed on the Fitting Screen, will update to show CPU and PG reqs for modules. They also tally the Passive Resistances any hardeners will add in.
When you cursor over an item, the screen immediately does the math for fitting it. Why not have cursoring over something already fitted, show the effects when its activated?
As it is now, you have to download EFT to get the same figures. Sounds to me like CCP should either buy EFT stock, or get on the ball with their own interface.

because when you mouse over things in station the projected effects on your ship are before applying your relevant skills, I'm sure there is some difficulty in getting your skills to work in conjunction with this feature or else CCP would have done it already

but if the fitting screen works (including your skills ) when out in space using ctrl-shift-f then it could work in station if they gave us the ability to actually turn the mods on. what would be so unrealistic about activating mods whilst docked up ? i can be sat in a car on my drive and test my lights work :)

Bonuses aren't applied for info on drones and ammo while docked either. Good question, however you fail for using the term "ghey"

ammo that's been loaded into a weapon do have skill bonuses applied (but not weapon upgrade mods)
you cannot view bonused drone stats anywhere except in EFT, and this is an issue that's been raised multiple times

o so i fail, but you too fail at quoting it was ghAy !.
also i dont suggest this for anything firepower related i suggest this for shield/armor resist viewing only. i thought i had made that clear :/
i see nothing much wrong with viewing my guns stats in station if i right click said guns the dmg modifier changes depending on how many dmg mods i have fitted as does the range of gun dependant on ammo loaded. i think you are refering to actually dps stats using different ammo types/dmg mods in which case yes that isn't viewable but it isn't viewable in space using the fitting tool either. i just want to see the same functionality of the ship fitting tool in station as it is in space. it just seems like a very simple thing to fix.
please dont get me wrong tho. an absolute dps readout would be very handy too.

You also fail at spelling "ghey" and at using your shift key.

How do you know it was the shift key?, it could of been the CAPS LOCK, or maybe a huge keyboard that only ever does capital letters that he switched up while posting.
How do you know all this?, just how?

How? Indeed, how. Well, I just know. Yes, it is as simple as that. Now GAZE UPON ME AND BE IN AWE!
In AWE, dammit. Or at least slightly interested.

I would actually like to believe that he is using a huge keyboard that requires him to jump from key to key and his buddy (who hits the shift key/toggles caps lock) is feeling ill today and had to call out. His other buddy, who checks his spelling and makes sure his aimspeak is properly translated is off to help the first one, which causes doubt about their "special friends" status and questions their heterosexuality in our OP's mind, bringing shadowy and fearful thoughts about which he does not want lingering around.
So he brushes it aside and posts here, alone, with none to help him or take his mind off the question he is truly asking" "Why not me? Am I not good enough?"
Truly, our hearts go out to him.

Edited by: mofokitkat on 23/06/2008 15:03:04 Edited by: mofokitkat on 23/06/2008 15:02:47 you ever seen the film "Big" the scene where the guy and the kid play the huge floor keyboard in store. Thats my keyboard that is.
Sadly the adult required to press the bigger keys for me is not available today. Maybe as you have so much time on your hands you could come and do it for me. In return. I will show you my rainbow as amberfyre mentioned. You shall be impressed. Maybe even aroused.

The situation appears to be as I surmised, but has reached much more advanced stages than I feared.
Hold on strong, mofokitkat, and remember to only show your rainbow to consenting adults.
