I recently purchased an Obelisk freighter and am looking to make the most out of it. I am offering to move large batches of whatever multiple jumps provided it stays .5 or above security. Payment is open for discussion, so long as it's fair, and I will move any and all items short of contraband.
Convo me in game for more info.
If you wish to audit me via limited API key, I will agree to have this done... though you'll have to instruct me as to how to go about it (sorry, like I said I'm a bit new to the whole mechanics of trade)

Do you mean to say you just invested ~800m or so in a new toy and now you have no idea what to do with it? And do you think that if there was something really profitable you could do with it, people would just let you know about it?
If you have no precise plans, the best thing you can do is sell it, or possibly try to rent it out to others via loan contracts. Otherwise, consider setting up mineral/loot drop/ore buy orders in remote locations, reprocessing/refining and shipping it all to trade hubs.

I'd love to have some with their own Freighter do the hauling for me, but my profit margin is such that I wouldn't be able to pay a fair salariy. Sadly.

I'm trying out Trade after doing mish's, PvP, ratting, and mining... now I want to try Trade. Have the skills, the ship, just not the know how. :)
Already have a set of contracts, but if anyone has things for me near Jita / Ours, I can do others as well.

I would've thought the same thing you are... but for knowing Kaz I'd say his comments were genuine. In fact, his comments were something I've said to people myself... many many times.

Why sell it? It's probably the best investment a person can make in high-sec, assuming they can fly it.
It's not like there's much else to invest 800m in.

Eh, no point selling it unless you need the isk to do something else. Play around with it and have fun. At worst, you'll get suicided in high sec, and with insurance, even that is manageable. There are a few uses for them, and hell, they're fun. I keep my old ships around for no purpose whatsoever, fitted, in case I feel like screwing around with em. Nothin wrong with building up a collection of flyin toys.

Hauling, Trading, all the same to me. Long as I can turn a profit... I'm working towards dreads and mom's atm, so I need a way to make decent money. L4's are eh anymore... they got the nerfbat hard... I can fly any and all Fed Navy agents, but L5's are barely worth the time and effort :(

You probably want to offer this on the industrialist forums, rather than the trader forum.
By having you ship item x a trader is showing you exactly what and how they are making a profit on - so you could just cut them out of the loop next time. Industrialists wont have that same concern. |

Trading is still trading if you need to haul it. Buy low sell high can't be explained otherwise. Ignore the fools not getting this
