EVE is running very poorly, I get around 5 to 10 fps. My Internet connection is fine and there is nothing wrong with my video card. I defragged my HD and it didn't help at all. This is the first time EVE ever ran this bad for me. I played around with graphical options and nothing helped even when I lowered my resolutions.
I will appreciate any help to this problem, thank you.

No I always make sure I close any programs running that I don't use by way of task manager. My system specs are...
P4 1.9 512MB RAM PC800 Nvidia 5900 Windows XP
I ran this game with these systems for weeks now and I never had a problem like this before. The game runs so choppy that I can't stand playing it.

Hmmm, I had a problem a little like this and mine was actually down to the chip overheating - can't say it will help but mb try checking all is well with your fans etc

Magallen: Is EVE the only game that runs poorly, or is it EVE Specific? If so , Other than uninstalling EVE and Re-installing, Does this make ANY difference? Are your Drivers up to date? What type of Motherboard are you using, RAM. If your Running XP do you run "END IT ALL"? (A very good program for shutting down applications that are not needed to play games) Are you behind a firewall? What type of internet connection do you have?
This is just for starters, im shure we can come up with an answer to fix your problem.

I also had problems that I traced to chip overheating. At least they went away when I changed my Northbridge cooler.
