I thought forsure they would update the item database. Owell i guess i will hafta wait till i can veiw all the items at work.

this thread is now about pie
i enjoy pumpkin pie the most but enjoy a nice fruit pie every now and then

Nahh - they updated it a few years ago. No need yet.

if somebody can do the db work on the static export, i could code an online flex tool (as well as AIR application functionality) for the item db and throw it up on a website.
this could also tie into a "new", more graphically user-friendly flex ship fitting app, too.
just a thought.

They updated the items db last with revelations II, which I think was almost exactly a year ago.
Though when I say "updated" I mean they updated the website items DB to be current with revelations II some months after rev II came out.
In the meantime, I remember someone actually made an updated items db using the API's or something. TBH it is a bit of a joke that they have to take down the website when doing updates because it is all linked into the same DB, yet can't keep items DB up to date (meaning the items db on the website is actually a separate db. I think this is because you have to log in to use forums but don't to browse items db, but tbh, who is gonna browse it who doesn't aready play the game?)
