Its hard to clearly define every social and religious aspects of Amarr because its impossible and we have very little info on a more than 20k years of culture, other than a few chrons and a novel or two (which isn't specifically about the Amarr). But what few pieces we can derive from all those above-mentioned resources and the in-game items seems to quite clearly point the Amarrians as pretty damn strict, especially when it comes to social interactions and order.
Also, i think its pretty obvious that the Amarr is designed as a pretty direct opposite of the Gallente. what the Gallente cherish as its most cherished virtues, the Amarr abhors and vice versa. The Gallente is all about freedom of choice, expression and living your own life, the Amarr is all about rules, regulations and unchanging traditions, of clear-cut do's and don'ts.
IIRC, the Amarr descended from Catholic pioneers during the early years of New Eve discovery and thus, bits and pieces of the religion, and quite obviously the entirety "Abrahamaic" religions made it through the years or at least, influenced the shape of the Ammarian faith today. In fact, its quite obvious that's the source of inspiration when the Devs are designing the Amarrs. The exact tenets of the faith is not made clear but I would think that the rules regarding social interactions would probably mirror quite closely. IMHO, picture a catholic, christian, muslim or judaism, whatever, then make it 10-20x more strict, then you perhaps have the Amarr :D

Originally by: Garion Avarr figured that most likely, it would be hushed up if they were of higher social status, with an abortion done quietly. Or the child might be carried to term and then adopted by relatives, with the birth mother likely never being acknowledged to them. Less common, I think, would be the parties simply marrying once the pregnancy was discovered -- especially if they are of high class, why should they do that, when they can just have an abortion?
I'm thinking, given that Amarr families have gone in for centuries long vendettas (from character creation info), that an Amarr family who finds that their daughter is pregnant would use that as leverage against the family of the man responsible.
Dangerous schemes, perhaps, but e.g. a high status man and lower status woman, then there is the blackmail aspect, so a deal would be made. Perhaps for slightly more advantageous trading rights, in return for silence. Or for a low status man and high status woman, then it could be useful, if the low family give up some of their wealth in return for some status, thereby helping the finances of a relatively impoverished high status family.
Also, given the Amarr virtues of patience and planning, for an Amarr woman to end up pregnant unintentionally is far less likely than for a Gallente woman.
