Due to the HUGE size of the pot now, would it not be more reasonable to split it? 2,000,000,000 ISK is a lot of money for one person. Why not split it into smaller chunks so that multiple people will get richer? in this case how about 2 winners instead of one?

Changing the rules in the middle of the lotto would most likely be frowned apon. If future lotto's reach into the billions, We may consider a rule change, but this is not very likely. We also wouldn't change the rules in a middle of the draw. Some of you might have noticed the rules changed for this draw, that was not our choice.
If you have any questions please stop by our ingame channel "BIG". Rules for the lotto are not really up for public debate, but we do like feed back.

Galban Hunter we are eagerly following the suggestions posted (in numerous threads by now).
Most suggestions are inline with yours - and whatever we decide will most likely be something along those lines.
Bear in mind that the rules for round 27 (our 1 year anniversary round) stays unchanged.
Theres only one prize : The Imperial apocalypse.
The ISK will be paid out later.
