Bah, I just feel like I need to vent somewhere as I just got back from college...They've had a lot of building work recently, and they needed space to move around in-so they decided to bin unwanted items-Among that was a 48 Page A3 Portfolio which was the Peak of two years of graft-The work that got me into the top five students nationally (Not percentile, but top five actual students) out of 63 thousand candidates...The reason they had it was because it had to be moderated so I wasn't allowed to take it-I then start my gap year (this was last summer.) Went in today after getting time to collect my things and no-Its been trashed. They apparently weren't able to find the space to put an oh so big portfolio. So it had to be skipped. BUT the icing on the cake is that they still have the A3 bindings for it-They were so ****ing cheap that they TOOK my work out of the binder, threw it in the bin, and kept the binder for one of next years students. What the ****? Naturally, the head of department wasn't there (Still term time but she's on holiday) for me to...uh....have a nice little chat with, but I will be going in to see her next year (even though I will be at uni-I will definately be coming back to give her a piece of my mind...) It upsets me most that I would have had it if the work wasn't exceptional, and that it now is lying in a heap somewhere...
Anyone else lost something sentimental and need to vent? Go for it! Get it off your chest and get lairy :)

and so you learned something that is usually not taught at college. no matter how great something is and the work put into it, sooner or later everything is turned into useless garbage. and people don't care.
