ive been out of eve for about a year and a half. I stopped playing around the time that rig mats were dropin from rats one per kill lol. how have the dynamics of the game changed and how should i fit my ships now for ratting/pvp I can fly BSes of both gal and cal as well as ASes for Gal.
all replies and advice are highly appreciated.
ps if anyone has any advice on how to recover my stuff from 0.0 space that would be great to (haha I usto be in NFC back in the day =P)

Ratting? Domi, Mega, and Raven still good at it. PvP? Just about any ship will do... Falcon is new EWAR FOTM and amarr just got a huge boost. Ishtars are nano now.

any tips on fitting now thats there is rigs and boosters?

Boosters aren't used that often due to their prohibitive price. Rigs, you just fit whatever helps your setup. Damage, tank and cap rigs are among the most popular, along with polycarbs for nanoships.

Trimarks if you want armor hp, polycarbs if you want speed, 2x auxilery 1x nanobot accel if you want rep amount, cap rigs if your running missions in a raven.
Thats about all I remember.

Ships with overdrives/nanofibers/speed mods in the lows, speed rigs and a MWD. Basically, you go as fast as possible to try to avoid damage, rather than a slow ship that tries to tank damage. They're popular because they can run from fights easily, and they can avoid gate blobs more easily.

This and I recommend drones and missiles for pvp if your also new to the game.
