It seems we need this feature now too, given CCP's history of "oops". Entity said he has a script that he runs to check asset integrity. I'm working on something now that's more of a web app that uses the api to show inventory snapshots daily... but it's going to be a while until I have adequate time to work on it. Until then I am just going to watch what Entity says because if I have it, he has it, and if anything goes missing he will probably be the first to know.

I would prefer CCP give us a BUTTON on the Asset window and we can export from there, just like the other windows (market, journal etc).
So if he would be the First to know if something went missing, how come he didn't start this thread? So much for that script :) |

So when should we have our Mines back?

I just discovered them missing when I went to drag link it to a new person so he could see what they used to look like. I was a bit and spent about an hour trying to track it down off old exported assets lists... found it, but it wasn't there. Anyway.. I'm glad they're putting them back. |

That day should be TODAY. Lets go CCP, I want my stuff back NOW. You've already made us all wait too long. |

Types all exist on TQ again now
The current plan is to do the item restoration tomorrow, pending final verification. To deal with situations where the items may have been in locations that have been destroyed, we're doing the following:
-Any items owned by a player that were in a station hangar (not in a container, just on the hangar floor) will go back to where they were. -Any items owned by a player that were anywhere else (containers, ships, starbases, whatever) will be placed in the owner's home station -Any items owned by a corporation (in corp hangars, for the most part) will go to the CEO's home station (this isn't perfect, but there's no other foolproof place to put them - we especially don't want to put things that were formerly in a private hangar division into a public hangar division instead)
There's about a hundred people with outlying items in non-standard places (contracts etc) that may have trouble being recovered properly. These will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis
If you've got any questions about the process outlined in this post, please ask away! |

Good to hear \o/
Question, if you know they were in a hanger/can, why not just place them back in their exact location ?
Not that I mind, mine was in cans, but I keep my hangers clean.. but others, mainly the Corp Hangers where a CEO might not know if said items belong to "the corp" or a specific individual(s) in the corp, or otherwise where they belong, it might lead to troubles.. [ from a logic standpoint is seems simple, but of course this is software, so I doubt it is lol ]
I'm just saying.. I for one would be willing to wait a little longer to get my items back, if it was a "perfect" restore.. not like I can use the mines to blow up people during Burn Jita lol
[ though if your bored and want to activate the mines for the weekend.. I would fully support that.. ] |

Because in all those cases, the "location" is just "a corporate hangar" or "a container", and it's highly preferable not to have to then go and look up where that hangar/container is, and then where the thing that said hangar/container is in is as well. It makes the script require more assumptions and thus be much riskier, and we'd rather go with the low-risk solution here. |

This is being pushed back at least another day, as the DB programmer who's doing all the heavy lifting is off sick today, and he'd prefer to be present when we do the restore to ensure that there aren't any hiccups. We obviously apologize for this unforeseen delay |

Hi everyone,
During downtime today, we restored 152,388 stacks of deleted items, with a total quantity of 100,032,968 units, belonging to the following types: Anaconda Mine Anaconda Mine Blueprint Asp Mine Asp Mine Blueprint Chalcopyrite Cobra Mine Cobra Mine Blueprint Hellhound I Mimir Blueprint Mining Drone - Elite Mining Drone - Improved Python Mine Python Mine Blueprint
As per my previous post: -Any items owned by a player that were in a station hangar (not in a container, just on the hangar floor) will go back to where they were.
145 stacks were not automatically restored, mainly due to being in contracts. If you owned one or more of these stacks, or otherwise believe that some or all of your missing items (from the above list of types) were not restored, please file a petition and Customer Support will check if you own one or more of the 145 items on the list and restore them to you
It should also be the case that all blueprint data are restored as part of this change. In particular, we've double-checked the status of all remaining Mimir blueprints and they have the correct run data.
Thanks again for your time and patience in this matter, and we apologize once again for the inconvenience caused. -Greyscale |

Can you elaborate on which items which were owned by players were not restored? eg. Did Entity get his implant back? |

Well I for one is still missing my mine blueprints and they were in copr hangar... Time to petition I guess. Never mind I fail at reading.
I am very pleased to see that the blueprints have (what I think) was the correct ME/PE values.
Also, you double-checked the Mimir BPCs, does that mean they "only" got 40 runs now or the actual 1-2-3 runs that most likely was left on it?

100% of restored Mimir BPCs have the same number of runs at point of restoration that they did at point of deletion. |
