Can someone outline complete list of skills which u need to operate Black ops effectivelly. Im not talking about support skills, i.e. guns cap etc, only those skills which are specific for Black ops

I'll just go ahead and say it before anyone else does. Black ops aren't worth training atm unless you're completely out of things to train.

You can do some kinda neat things with them, but for the most part they're expensive BS that are weaker in combat than their t1 counterparts, stealthy to a degree, but they can't warp cloaked and they lock about as quickly as other BS do (somewhat negating the element of surprise I suppose ). I've seen some interesting setups for the Caldari one including a mix of ECM and gank, but it's at best a specialized ship with a high price tag.

Train for dreadnaught if you plan to use one. The Black Ops skills spath is almost exactly the same. In fact, most current Black Ops pilots are just dread pilots. --

In addition to 'regular' battleship skills you would need with black ops cloaking 4 (will have it anyway) and jumping skills (3 of them, same ones used for carriers and dreads for example) and then ofcource jump portal generation. Having cyno 5 to make cov ops cynos would be nice also, altho it's something you would benefit more on your cyno alt (with ability to fly some cov ops ship to actually mount the cyno) than your Black ops pilot, but it sure would not hurt.
So it's a regular battleship with cloak and jump drive in a nutshell. For actual combat regular Tech 1 battleships are somewhat better and that relatively limited jumping/portal ability is not really worth the extra cost in it's current form other than few very very specific scenarios (what are unlikely to happen in real EVE in any regular basis).

Greetings, you imply that a black ops BS can jump? It certainly is not obvious how. Can you help? The best things in life aren't things. |

It has a jump drive which works on the same principle as those fitted to carriers, dreads and jump freighters.
You lock on to a cyno field generated by a gangmate in the target system and jump to it. It's pretty short range on these things though, nerfed as they are.
