The war has been raging for weeks now. Both sides have shared defeat as well as victory. We have witnessed our ships burning, as well as theirs. We have seen the loss of 8 systems. As if this was not bad enough, we now have a group of pilots attempting to strike at our very core.
They must be stopped for the good of Amarr.
Slacker Industries, and the Royal Hiigarian Navy have declared war and open aggression on Series of Tubes. Upon joining the war effort, they immediately began hostilities, tempers flared, diplomacy failed, and a Civil War has erupted.
Our Response:

32nd Amarrian Imperial Navy Regiment has declared war on Slacker Industries.
After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
We refuse to allow any organization to disrespect any citizens of the Amarr Empire. Any acts of aggression on our faction will be met with an equal amount of aggression.
We call now, on fellow Amarrians... and CVA. Help resolve this issue whether it be with diplomacy or war.
The Civil War has begun. Which side are you on.
May god bless all faithful Amarrians, and continue to curse the wicked.

Valdez, this was simply a minor conflict between the Slackers and the Tubes.
It will only be a true civil war within the militia if more corporations join in.
I therefore strongly urge RHN and the 32nd to withdraw their war declarations immediately.
I also ask for the Tubes and the Slackers to enter into peace negotiations as soon as possible. Should a mediator be required, I will offer my services in that regard.
Let us act like true Amarrians and settle our differences between each other in a subtle manner. Let us not forget who the real enemies are.

This is no longer an isolated conflict. War declarations have been issued from many corps, or are in the process of being issued as we speak.
We hope and pray for a peaceful resolution, but so long as these heretics spill the blood of our fellow capsuleers in series of tubes, we cannot stand idly by.
We will attend any diplomatic summits, and are willing to peacefully resolve this matter in any way possible.

How else shall we react? We pushed for peace with the minmatarr as well. Look what that got us. War. They brought it to us.
These two corps are no different. They initiated hostilities, and will be treated no different then the minmatarr.

This is ultimately what we want. It is wasteful of our limited resources to settle such disputes. However, if they are unwilling to have peace, what should we do then?
We cannot remain uninvolved. They must either agree on peace, or be forced.

When the minmatarr attacked our home worlds, we retaliated with war. They broke the peace.
When Slacker Industries declared war on series of tubes along with the Royal Hiigarian Navy, we war decced them. They broke the peace.
It isn't clear to me how this is so hard to understand.

Wow, that almost Caldari Civil War thing was nodda in comparison to this.
At least they had the sense to stop pointing weapons at each other and resume shooting wartargets.

Temperance and diplomacy, not further war declaration and escelation, might have kept this issue of pride between two individuals within two organizations from becoming what is now apparently heralded as a "civil war."
As for CVA involvement...I daresay if CVA were to be involved in any way, it would be to serve as Inquisitor and burn all involved to the ground to prevent this poison from spreading through the militia and distracting from God's good work.
Wash your hands of this war, all of you. Left to the originating organizations, it will fizzle out of its own accord. There are more important issues at hand.

The peace summit has ended. The transcripts are available for those that wish to see them.
The end resolution is that although demands were brought to the table on both sides, no cease fire was agreed on.
This is a sad day for the amarr militia.

Effective in approx 2 days, 32AIN will be going on loan to the Caldari Militia. We wish the Amarr Militia the best of luck during our time away. We pray that leadership steps up as you lose at least 3 of your Fleet Admirals in the coming days.

It was inevitable our politics would get involved.
Through it's very nature the 24th cannot have a civil war. It is not a civilization to be changed through war. It is neither a political faction or a nation. It is an authority responsible for the direct handling of independent capsuleers be they loyalists, mercenaries, warmongers, sympathizers, or even traitors.
Some have forgotten themselves: We are not the Empire, our wars are not it's wars.
