Edited by: Bashful Dwarf on 09/07/2008 16:50:41 Try 1 Gistii B Type Small Booster 2 x Gistii B Rat spercific hardeners (or Dread Guristas if you're poor) 1 x Cap Recharger II
Lows
1 x MLU II 1 x MLU I
Rigs
One Hardener rig for each type of damage you're tanking (eg Kin/Therm for guristas)
This way you can actually mine as well as tank letting you tank about 220 dps against specific rats.
Only downside is you'll need a +3% CPU implant.

You should only ever fit one shield booster (not two like armour reps), and you should be able to permarun a Gistii B (or even Pithi B) without all those cap mods, the CCCs alone should do it.
Make sure you have at least Energy Management IV and Energy Systems Operation IV trained.
Nothing special, not big or clever, just 20 fighters and one hell of a tank.... |

A very effectice Hulk tank-there is none better in my opinion for the cash spent is the following:
Low
2 True Sansha Power Diagnostic
Medium
Dread Guristas Ballistic Field, Dread Invulnerability Field, Gistii A-Type Small shield Booster, Faction Shield Boost Amplifier. Change hardener to suit.
This setup will tank multiple battleship spawns with support cruisers & frigates & not bat an eyelid. I know it is good because it was my low sec tank but alas isd expensive & vulnerable to gank attacks so keep your eyes peeled in local.
