Its quite simple really...
People who have been playing eve as long as I have will have they're items spread over all the regions, these could be single shuttles or tech2 items...
Add a $10 charge or something and basically, you specify a system and all your eve items are transported there ships/mods/etc.... some people have more than 3000 items so they would have to be spread over multiple stations, this in essence would allow people to de-clutter their asset list and make CCP more money!
Discuss plz! :D

Charging RL money for in-game services?

How immersion breaking wouldn't that be?
You could setup courier contracts to bring all your stuff to one system, all within the current game mechanics.

It's already in the game. Pay someone to haul your stuff (for ISK, not real money ... or maybe for GTCs)

Swap dollah for ISK and i can agree with you. Paying RL money for IG action is bad!

Make courier packages unscanable again and you'll be able to use that system even for your more precious posessions.

just make the collateral high enough to cover the loss if it gets poped. yes you will have to make the reword nice and juicy but you are already talking about spending real cash so whats a little isk. ===============================================

There are very few players that actualy put up decent couriers.
Inbeween the deathtraps, scams and unreasonable collaterials it is all mostly a waste of time. Also you have to deal with people who demand 400 mil colleterial and pay you a measly 10,000 isk for the journey. If you have 400 mil why the **** would you do a courier for 10,000 isk!!!!?
I welcome a relocation service although I think it should cost ingame money not RL money _______

I much rather see Interbus to do that, than pay Real Money for an ingame service.
Fortunately I learned early in my EVE life no to throw crap around, I have 5 locations where the stuff is stored and I keep it that way, and have kept it this way for over 4 years now. Simple self discipline works wonders, every time I see I am leaving crap behind I hear my mother's voice carping "Did you clean your room? Did you walk the dog? Did you feed the fish? Did you rake the leaves?" - a shudder passes through my body filled with those lovely memories and I go clean up my crap.

The courier option died once packages became scanable, everything worth more than the collateral got stolen.
With unscanable packages back people would be able to send valuables at reasonably low prices and collateral as people would also be sending decoys and the thieves would be wary of ripping it open only to find that they've paid 200M for litteraly garbage.
Bring back the unscanable package and the courier missions will live again!

By scannable do you mean being able to use a cargo scanner to check its contents? Because if so, the guy who accepts the courier has always been able to see what's inside by right-clicking it and checking "Open Container". It won't void the contract unless he actually chooses "Break Container".

I find that very hard to believe, especially since I've made billions in the past from people stealing garbage from me.

Well, I started playing in 2005, if that happened before it, then the "Open Container" feature might not have existed yet.

This is very VERY untrue, you just need to be fast. The "decent" courier contracts are put up often enough, but they are accepted even faster.
Most people who complain about no one accepting their courier contracts, grossly undervalue other players time and effort when they set the reward. Especially when the set a very very high collateral, and a junk reward. --

I know it's a bid tedious, but people do accept hauling contracts for fair prices... most of the time even for prices so low I wouldn't consider them fair.
If you are a seasoned player who has lots of assests all over, you should have a few m to spare to have people haul your stuff to a station of your desire.
