I didn't protect it." Comparing EVE to another game makes the complete rubbish of your type of thinking obvious. There are those that play EVE to win and those that don't. I didn't protect it." the correct analogy would be "one night i was playing in a chess tournament and got beaten because my opponent used a house rule i didn t know about". if you don t know about the house rule before hand you percieve it as cheating which breaks the game s border to rl. because those rules are part of what makes it a game. edit: eve being a sandbox need rules we as player impose upon us. in that context the honorably player looses in the ruleset of the dishonest ones and vice versa. there is no better or worse player objectivly. there are only player and people quitting.
