Odotte, 10 July 110. Scuderia Caille and Dragonstar Racing Team would like to announce cooperation agreement and intention to merge.
Late in Season 4 of the ISGC Racing League, both racing teams started working together. For the past 12 races we have shared comms, intelligence, navi info and warp beacons. We are pleased to announce this cooperation has been a success, as we are now pleased to make this news public.
Dragonstar's strength on interceptor racing has enabled a strong season for Scuderia's frigate team. Scuderia's advanced racing research has provided Dragonstar with an edge on upcoming race fitting and tactics. This strategic alliance has resulted in some accomplishments that would not have been possible otherwise: 1st place interceptors in race #10 of Season 4 to Scuderia; 1st place interceptors in race #7 of Season 5 to Dragonstar; an unassailable Scuderia lead on the frigate class during Season 5, and many other examples.
Moreover, besides scores and places, it has been fun. These last races have been the most fun we have all had in a while, and it is all thanks to an outstanding group of people.
For all this success, some goals are still unachieved. Our racing adversaries old and new are formidable, well-organized and talented. Our racing reports still have to be carefully edited. We have sadly had to turn back potential recruits.
Also, keeping the secret is killing us.
We want to reach the next level. That is why today we are announcing our agreement publicly and, as of season 6, our intention that both racing teams will merge and run as a single team. We look forward to the last race of this season, this will be our last race as separate teams, and we hope for a successful, and totally fun, Season 6.
Keep watching!

Have to say I'm surprised ladies. You managed to keep that secret for a long time, well done. Have you decided what you're going to call the merged team yet?
See you on track for the last race.

I must say, this explains a lot. I had noticed some shall we say strange behaviour on the track, but assumed little of it...
...to think this was going on under my very nose! ...

Thank you, DeadRow
To Rawr and Irongut: Yes, we were quite surprised no one ever called us on those mutual warp train moves (and yes we did do that quite a number of times right under Rawr's nose, as she says) or even on some iffy finishing times by Scuderia (like a time around mid-season when the Scuderia frigates would mysteriously finish ahead of Quin in her Ceptor.)
Although there was some thrill in keeping it secret for a while, the desire to openly have fun as a unit - and boy, do we really have fun flying together - it won out and here we are out in the open. Next Season we should be called Scuderia Dragonstar.

So... now I have to root for both Scuderia Caille and Dragonstar Racing? Two teams in one head may just be a little too much
Oh, who cares? Congratulations, Queen! I hope you find fun and fast racing in this merger.
Your #1 fan, C. Starbright.
