Edited by: Diggor Gardner on 12/07/2008 03:14:51 Edited by: Diggor Gardner on 12/07/2008 03:13:44 I have be doing missions with an agent level 3, 7 for a couple of weeks. I have been building up my skills.
At first the rewards were good, up to a million isk and 4 digit LP. Now I am lucky to get over 500,000 combined and a couple of hundred LP. My standing is 8.7 but as it goes up, the rewards drop. Current reward is 77,000, 89,000 and 154 lp. Not even worth reloading.
This a known fact? Is it incentive to move on?

Are you comparing the same missions? Pick one - for example Angel Extravaganza and compare that one then and now. Fact is as you gain standings, your rewards will go up not the other way around. That said the rewards are also dynamic so if alot of people farm a certain mission for unmotivated rewards - they will go down, and the other way around but in a much slower fashion. Parrots, commence!

Unhappy by rewards amount - move to lowsec missioning. Also some missions worth alot more, why not "hunt" for them if you so concerned? ---- Drones eat everything. Trust me. |

Try (because I assume that you're not at the moment) doing kill missions. ___ Victory smiles upon those who anticipate the changes in the character of war, not upon those who wait to adapt themselves after they occur. ~Guilio Douhet |

There is no way your rewards have gone down if you're using the same agent, so you're definitely just imagining this. Some missions pay like 3x as well as others. Play the Celeste Lottery! |

Edited by: Pteranodon on 13/07/2008 11:46:05 I don't believe the OP is getting anywhere near the rewards he should be getting if using good agents. I just did Worlds Collide Level 4 Level 17 agent & got 5600 LP, 3,500,000 in reward & 40,000,000 salvage & bounties.
I would move to level 4 quickly.

Rewards are related to agent level, quality and security of the system he is in.
Why you would say that it's a "fact" that your own standings have anything to do with it is beyond me. Some proof would be nice.

Higher standings equate to higher Effective Quality.

You'll need a better quality agent to maximize profits. Look for a L3 / 19 agent in a 0.5 system.
And training the corresponding connection skills will help you even more in that area (negotiation for cash and i.e. military and political connections to maximize LP gain from a command agent).

Fixed it for you too...
Mind you this is about personal standings towards your agent. Parrots, commence!

If you're unhappy about the rewards for the missions, try salvaging the missions after you're done. I'm running level IVs and making a lot of money doing the following:
1. Fly through in battleship, blow things up. 2. Bookmark the location or each room in the complex. 3. Return to base, collect reward. 4. Hop in salvager (with microwarpdrive equipped). 5. Warp back to bookmarks, loot and salvage.
I make a lot more money from the bounties, loot and salvage than I do from the mission rewards.
Incidentally, the looting is awesome in a Minmatar Typhoon equipped with x3 tractor, x5 salvager, microwarpdrive, capacitor recharge boosters, hull expanders. I can hold 1500m3 and zip around at nearly 900 m/s. Haven't encountered a mission with more loot that 1500m3 yet -- just gotta drop the scrap metal.
