Now I'm curious...
The "peasent..." graphic that shows all the ships in station.. is that actual ingame graphics or did you edit them with a photoshop tool?
If that's your ingame graphics... what graphics card do you use. Looks awesome ^^

I'm sure thats totally shopped. My computer is new enough to run EVE with max settings (both the settings in EVE and in my graphics driver) and the graphics is really sweet but not that sweet.

Looks like a diffuse glow filter, and some kind of blur/softening tool too.

if only we had antyalising, i hate those edges !!!
i mean seriously, who makes such an awesome graphic engine, and doesn't put antyalising in...

Yeah, they're enhanced. Even QSLI @ 2560x1600 with HDR and bloom turned on, plus forced AA doesn't look that good.
Looks like there's a Gaussian Blur filter over it and a brightness filter to exadurate the bloom.

Those pictures are nice in an ambient kinda way, but if you actually think that they are better than ingame graphics then you either need a new card or glasses.

which is exactly what I mean by "Forced AA".
You don't even need stupid third party programs like nHancer, or Rivatuner, you can do it through the standard nVidia drivers that come with the card in vista, in the nvidia control panel.

Forced AA works just fine with max HDR etc with my 8800GTX, with the help of nHancer. It looks great!

3x 3870s in crossfire @ 48x EdgeDetect AA, 16x AF @ 6720x1050
This was taken when the new gfx came out and I believe it had everything set to max. You can mess around
with ati tools/ Nriver (or whatever its called) and get some varying degrees of success with HDR & AA.
When I shrunk them down to a smaller size and fixed the FOV it obviously made them look alot smoother.
Infranview possibly does what people suggest and blur it a little, but i didn't say anything about not
being played with, even tho it obviously has (eve doesn't come with wet spots) so what does it matter?
