funny, when star trek was cancelled, i think they said there'd never be anymore star trek.
seriously...the only other evet in t.v history similar to what happened with the original star trek, is firefly.
except star trek had 70 + episodes :( and firefly only 14.
greatness cancalled by seemingly poor ratings, conventions and gatherings well attended across the country, legions of fans , fan fic, and of course in our age web pages. a movie (that didnt do well in the box office)
the only reason firefly wont come back, is because joss doesnt want to go back to it now, because he feels he might get burned again.
serenity brought him closure and i guess hes moved on finally, before he couldn't.

I have the box set and dvd side by side. If Firefly had survived and it was in the same time slot as star gate sg1, I would honestly consider watching firefly over stargate.

yes, excellent program, be sure to watch the 1st and only season, and then watch the film "Serenity"
you must watch them in that order.
