200 million per account per month is a fair price to pay.
30 day 200 mill
60 day 400 mill
90 day 600 mill
What ccp can do is charge less real money for the 90 and 60 day but the time code guys can benefit by keeping the isk price the same.
That being said I will still look for the cheapest seller and buy from them. |

yea but its hard for alot of people to get the 400 mil isk, wich i have yet to see more like 430-450mil
why not just bring back the 30day GTC |

Over the past month i have paid over ú200 on gtc.i would not pay for a 60 day gtc if i had to sell it for under 420mil,450mil so they would lose me.

Good, less sellers increases demand and prices go up! I assume this is what's causing the current jump, as alot more [WTB]'s are showing up over [WTS]'s.

Because the GTC can be traded for ISK everybody is complaining about the insane ISK prices for GTC and with all this madness nobody is realizing two things: The price per month on a GTC has incresed from 14.95 to 17.5 dollars. And why CCP has made this move?
I think i have the answer. The biggest problem in EVE is the lag. The lag is due to large amount of players on the same server. By incresing the price of GTC many players will leave, but also the higher price will compensate, in terms of profits, this players. So the cluster is less lagy but CCP will make the same profits, or even more. Not to mention that this move is a direct hit to all the players from Europe. That is because if i pay by credit card i will pay 23 dollars, bu i had the option to buy a 30 day GTC with 14.95 dollar + VAT. Now this option has gone and my only to options are to pay 23 dollars for 1 month or 34.99 + VAT for 2 months.
In the end i think this is a little experiment. The GTC trade will affect a small amount of players, and CCP want to see if the increase of price will really compensate for the leaving players, and if this will work I am sure that in the near future they will increase also the credit card and pay by cash subscriptions. And from them it will be a good thing. Instead of investing money in servers upgrades, they can lower the server population and making the same profits in this time (if not more).

Put simply, the prices are going higher and I think CCP wanted to make the price a little higher while changing the prices in eve for timecards. I'm pretty sure they exploited the fact that people can't seem to get math right. For the people who like 90 days, they complain - why? Because it's like you got an extra month free for buying 2 months. For those that like the 30 day, it's because it's in easier to manage chunks. I still don't see why the isk price wouldn't go up with the actual dollar price going up. Still, I really enjoyed the 90 day timecards, and I mean a lot! I'm not saying that what CCP did was totally wrong, but it definately doesn't fit my buying habits - I like variety, and I have NO variety with this current setup! And I mean eve is all about variety and choice.

Simply put. I completely agree with the theme of this thread. I just viewed this forum for the first time in months and I am by no means a poor player. I support multipule accounts and I sub 90day GTC's on each constantly. Well, all of my accounts are needing resubing and after seeing these prices I'm beginning to wager the costs against just using my debit card. These prices are absolutely absurd to what they used to be. 90day GTC's were at one point 360mill. 640 now? Gtfo.

just to state, those who thing this was a way to remove lag, that doesn't even make sense... Most alts are mission runners/miners/industrial chars, and well fleet lag is the current issue which means ~97% of alts don't ever see a fleet battle and thus don't cause lag. The thing is, that older established players aren't going to loose much, this mostly screwed up the newer players who already have a hard time catching up.
but hey... that's just me, whatever floats CCPs boat I say, it's not going to change anything I'm afraid.

Commercial issue = CCP needs more cash. I"m cool with that, but 90 day timecards allow me to not have to resubscribe as often, or buy as many cards. I personally don't care about the literal cost as I do care about the isk cost and subscription duration. This way with the 60 day timecards, it means I have to do 50% more ordering of timecards. I can understand not bringing back the 30 day timecards - people can't just give a character isk and make a hulk character within 45 days which I've heard is possible, so I mean if it means getting more subscription money into CCP's pockets I understand, but is that going to offset the amount of people willing to cancel accounts over this issue? no... So basically I guess I'm saying I just don't understand the point of the 60 day timecard decision.

I like options. Bring back the multiple options, please. Ignore all the whining about fake WTB orders and greedy players. Listen to your customers. As you pointed out this is commercial not game balance, and affects only a small percentage of players. I'd love to see the cost-benefit analysis on this one. Or at least an honest answer that makes it sound like some logic drove the decision.

Cute, its not open for discussion? So the player base's opinion must mean less than people sitting around a desk gonig, "lets make it easy. 60day gtcs It won't ruin the market at all!".
Don't give me that crap. Explain why it was an "economical choice" for CCP and maybe we'll find it easier to justify having such an inflated GTC market.

as u will see CCP have decided the best thing to do for its players is to keep the price's high and stay as 1 GTC which is the 60 day which nearly no one use's and i would like to ask wat do CCP do with all thoughs millions they earn allready THIEVING GITS
