Is there any independent news sites that post articles about the alliance wars in the 0.0 regions?
The forums seem to be full of propaganda and rumors when is comes to that kind of information.

Yea, they're called ISD. But it's usually written like a HS newspaper.

Well, COAD rates up there with Fox News.
There is scrapheap and a few others. The best source would likely be the sov maps plus killboards.
There are some wikis that track alliance histories. Sometimes this will give a bit of insight.

Every so often they write a pretty good piece on the general goings-on.

Don't read COAD, have someone without a stomach read COAD and report back to you who is spamming the most that day, toss some bones and read some tarot cards and there you have your answer, 'the news'.

I know WDA covers it a little, maybe someone should do a weekly podcast just on 0.0 war news.

Both are a bit dead, but you know. More heavily moderated than CAOD, although sadly CAOD is probably where the most up to date info can be found

Maybe you could join them and lend your expertise if they're a HS newspaper to you. Personally all I ever see their articles get from the 0.0 crowd is lots of *****ing.

ISD would be nice if they could get a news report made up and posted in under a week. It's nice though if you don't mind outdated news.
I find reading the titles in CAOD is the best thing. Don't bother to open them since that's considered bad for your health.

FOX news is slanted slightly to the right whereas almost all other news organizations are slanted heavily to the left.
As for EVE the nature of the game makes it almost impossible for someone to make a player run news organization. I know folks have tried. The problem is everyone thinks your a spy and either gives incorrect information or blows you off.
It would be nice if we could have them, be a nice roleplay thing. However I'm not sure they'll ever work out due to the playerbase in general.

They are certainly not fair and balanced but they are hardly completely to the right either, otherwise they wouldn't be Republican muppets.

Spoken like a true member of the Republican party.
CNN is by far the most neutral news organization. Can you honestly watch Lou Dobbs and say that CNN is leftist?
