Eve Online Character Status

For now working only with one account. The idea is to work with many accounts.
Show remaining time to skill training and skill name on Firefox status bar. Work with Limited ApiKey.

Good job, my man! I forwarded this to my brother who uses a Mac and therefore cannot run Evemon unless he employs some kind of funky Windows emulator. I hope this works and that you get many downloads.

Dude, you rock. I've got EveMon set up the way I like it, so I don't really need this, but I know a few people who will get a huge amount of use out of this.

Download xpi file from Mozilla Addon page. Change file from "eveonlinestats.xpi" to "eveonlinestats.zip". Open with some programs Winrar etc.

Hmm, I must be doing something wrong. When I enter my API info, it doesn't load any characters to choose from.
EDIT: Figures, when I post about my PEBKAC error, I figure out what I did wrong!

You only have to log in to download it, not ever again to use it. It's not really an issue, or something you'll be required to remember.

Multi account management is ready now working on that how to show it on the status bar. I like how simpale look and want to keep it that way.I need 3 or 4 day.

It's asking me to register in order to download, but the capthca keeps telling me it's wrong, even though I've filled it in correctly about 30 times now!
Anyone got an alternative link?

I use the widget that is avaibile for eve as well. I can't avoid when a skill is finished as i go death when wearing the headphones in vent as evemon and evewidget both yell at me!.
Not tried a firefox add on, but it sounds like a good idea.

No emulator of any kind needed.
Just use Boot Camp and dual boot Windows. Done.

Very nice add-on to Firefox. May I suggest making it a little less discreet? Maybe adding an EVE icon next to the timer or something.

Got it loaded, and seems to be working fine. It's simple, and does the job just fine, seeing as I have Firefox open whenever I'm at the computer, but not always Eve.

Kingdoc, try again now.
With asny patch like the one they deployed on Teusday the API is ALWAYS taken down for a Minimum of 24 hours.
It appears that it is back up again as my firefox now works!

You must use limited access key. Try reinstall addon. Change to other character is there are difference. And witch version do you use 1.3.1 or 1.4.

I was using the latest one. It just seems that its not "saving" the changes i make for example when i reopen settings nothing is highlighted and i have to click on my ID again and load the characters up again. Even when i remove it from addons and reinstall it, everything is the same.

I think its my computer or something i can't even get evemon to synchronize so i'm putting it down to a firewall or something, nevermind i just won't use either.

I've been using the EVEMon widget for iGoogle to keep an eye on skills training, but this Firefox add-on is WAY cooler. Could you make one for Safari next?

Very nice program. Works perfectly on my Mac! One thing I'd like to see, though: on the settings page where you enter the User ID and API Key, it'd be nice if it displayed the name of the character as opposed to the User ID in the list. Still, seems to work fine so good job! Should help me to reduce the amount of training time I lose ...

I installed this into Firefox 3 and the "Options" box for the addon is greyed out and can't be selected. Any ideas on what might be causing the problem? I do have other addons installed - Check4Change, Download Statusbar, FireFTP and NoScript - could any of these be interfering with the EVE addon?

Right click on addon over the status bar and in menu click settings. I will fix this.

hey, I have just downloaded this and installed it (1.4.3)using firefox 2.0.0.17.
Now I'm having it stuck at initializing character: syrinx saldaner and nothing more.
I have tried computer restart, FF restart and deleted and re-entered the limited access API key three times, deleted and re-installed the add-on also. I cannot think of anything else to do besides update firefox (which I dont really want to do but will have to soon I'm thinking).
Could my old edition of FF be the reason it's not running and a simple browser update will allow it to work?
Any advice would be appreciated.

The problem most likely is really in the Firefox version. If you update Firefox everything will be fine. I will fix this in next version. |
