As some of you may know, I run most of Hydra's media related efforts including our website, moderating our forum and doing some artwork for the cause. I do most of this from work because, hey, you need to unwind somewhere. After spending a week or so in fleet with the NC I would like to present this incredibly accurate and detailed portrail of the combat up until this point:
The Gate Camp - The MaxAge, Reloaded
If you find yourself growing bored after reading through COAD, feel free to roam on over to The Gate Camp cartoon (The Gate Camp) and spend another hour reading those (although the site seems slow today so maybe 2 hours). Some are funny.. some seemed funny at the time.. some seemed funny while drinking. Those without a sense of humor may not find it funny at all but will still appreciate spending an hour not working, mowing the lawn or waiting for EvE to reboot.

PS) The site is running at full speed again for anyone who gave up waiting. I had set it to "mind-numbingly slow" to simulate a fleet engagement.

Waaay back some spy captured some silly drunken teamspeak from one of our members who decided in the heat of battle to announce he was "Comin' in hot!". I can only assume he mean't he was going to shoot whatever was closest to him. To those with no real life to speak of it was the funniest damn thing they had ever heard.
Upon reflection it WAS pretty damn funny.. so every now and then I throw it out there. If I could paint it down the side of my ship, I would ;)

What can I say..Hydra knows how to have a good time. I take no responsibility for drunken teamspeak .. although I highly support it ;) It makes for amusing video though and frankly it makes writing comics easier heheh.
Comics are slow atm because I have a new baby and working on some stuff for the alliance. Look for more freequent updates over the next month or so!

LOL.. well not everyone is a superstar, don't get me wrong. Like every alliance we have our good and.. urm.. "potentially good" :) I've been in a few alliances/corps and there are always a couple of guys who should have a soundboard all to themselves :P (Hey when the heck do I get MY soundboard??) That said, Hydra is one of the best alliances I have been in with a solid balance of great people, fun gameplay and relaxed attitude. Best at PVP? Naw.. Great experience to be in? Yep! Frankly I pay my $14/mth for fun... well obviously.. I spend a lot of time creating cartoons lol.
