Its also perfectly logical that not everyone is going to respond well to an MMO companies promotion. You didn't actually think that CCP thought that ALL of those players would stay, did you? It goes without saying that they expect a small fraction to stay, which still makes them money.

You seem to care about my experience in the MMO industry, because you were the one who brought it up first in this thread.
I also didn't mention what I studied, nor what I had for breakfast.
Lastly, there is a certain truth to the idea that making a simple appeal to authority doesn't make for a good argument. However, I would have to say that in this case, my experience working on video games, and MMOs in particular is relevant.
Nobody should accept what I say on that alone. However, when you juxtapose what you've said here "CCP is trying to artificially inflate its subscriptions to make it look good by having promotions for former players" with what I've said--given logical and informed data based on my experience in the MMO industry (and stuff I could link if you wanted)--I think my previous work experience is partially relevant.
This sort of reminds me of something like this: someone complains that they're having chest pains, and one guy--a mechanic--says "don't worry, your chest hurts because its raining" and another guy--a doctor--says "you need to go to a hospital, that might be having a heart attack."
Now the mechanic isn't necessarily wrong, and the doctor isn't necessarily right, but if you ask each for clarification on the issue, and the doctor can produce an accurate list of symptoms and shows knowledge of human anatomy, while the mechanic mumbles something about the rain upseting the fluids in your body, you start to trust the doctor more... because he demonstrates a better knowledge regarding what he's talking about, AND because you give weight to his experiences as a doctor and a medical student.

thats just that.
when you left the game you were in lowsec, so you should have known the drill.
but its all good man, I too came back for a 2 year hiatus in 2005 and found myself deep in fountain and the extact same thing happened.
then again, im sure you didnt have a hauler popped carrying approx 2 bill in goods :)
but hey, thats eve, its not hard to get on your feet again, so live it up, :)

If you were docked at an outpost, you were not a solo player before you took your holiday.
If you were a solo player, you wouldn't have docked at an outpost before taking a holiday.
Trolling is not easy, better leave it to pros.

Actually skunk, I edited it twice so it would not be quite as insulting of your intelligence as I had been the first time. I gave you the benefit of the doubt for intelligence, but maybe I shouldn't have.
As for "rolled a new character to troll you" Sorry dude, you're not that important to me, so you need to take your swollen ego off somewhere and try it against someone who actually thinks you matter more than a bottle of rancid horse ****.
This character was rolled to serve a specific function within the Amarr Empire that contrary to your belief actually has nothing what so ever to do with you and your inflated ego in any way shape or form.

I was in a corp, it got evicted from Catch, and at some point during my 3 years of absence they decided to release me, can't blame them ^^.
