I think your opinion about Eve players may need a bit tweaking. I read somewhere that a lot of the players have very successful jobs etc. I doubt most players are living off social services, sitting around smelling bad and playing Eve.

Just because this is a mmorpg doesnt mean that everybody who plays it fit into the stereotype image of a mmorpg player. Probably almost noone does.

Personally I have a job I really like, excellent salary and fantastic coworkers. Eve is just a game to me, I play it mostly on the weekends for a couple of hours. It doesnt consume my life.
