2. Try to provide specific steps to recreate the problem. If YOU can't recreate the problem, we'll have a hard time too. On the other hand, if you can give us a specific list of instructions that causes the error to recur, our developers and QA team can likely track that bug down quickly and figure out how to fix it.
See, that is often the problem. Some bugs we encounter cannot be recreated, and we know that, but it's still obviously a bug; still the bugreport just gets filtered because the recreation steps are inadequate. That is what frustrates most people who report bugs, in my experience.
(An example of this: in FW testing I encountered a buggy plex. It was someone else's plex - you know, the kind that is broadcast and you can warp to. I just knew the name of the system and the name on the beacon, yet my bugreport got filtered because I didn't provide the name of the agent that handed out the mission... how is one supposed to know that?)
Same for issues that only happen in a specific system configuration. Then how do you recreate them? Build the same system, install the same programs and background services on the same version of windows?
Sorry, but the system for handling bugreports currently in place really needs work. ____________

Tareen, don't be a noob.
Bug reports that the dev team can't reproduce are next to useless. How are they supposed to know what they are fixing?
Just change random pieces until...wait they can't reproduce it...
Change random bits of code forever. Thats a great way to NOT fix bugs.

I had a similar (although worse) problem recently. Press esc, goto your settings and empty your cash. This will prolly fix it.

One of the things that I believe is making the market slower is how it seems to load twice. This looks to be fixed on the current build of the test server and seems much faster now.

But I need that cash to pay for my subscription :( Just kidding, I haven't paid cash to play EVE for years.

5 isk says nobody can get this issue acknowledged via bug reporting.
I have noticed performance issues with the market recently as well. It often displays the list of items, and then refreshes them for no reason, making me wait for this slow laggy flash where it removes all the items from the list and rewrites them. Annoying.

The two most important things you can do when you file a bug report are:
1. Be extremely clear what the error is. "Lag when using market" is not clear. If it takes several paragraphs to write up the description, that's fine. The more detail you give, the better, including what OS you are using, what video card you have, what driver version you're using, etc.
2. Try to provide specific steps to recreate the problem. If YOU can't recreate the problem, we'll have a hard time too. On the other hand, if you can give us a specific list of instructions that causes the error to recur, our developers and QA team can likely track that bug down quickly and figure out how to fix it.
There are a lot of bug reports that get sidetracked because we can't understand what you're trying to tell us, or we can't figure out how to reproduce the problem. That's understandable, given the number of potential failure points between our server and your computer, but if something is happening repeatedly and repeatably, we can fix that and we will.

Well I must say the dude is right. I have reported an error with a skill description. Gave enough info but I only got a mail that I needed to include screenshots of the error... I don't know if it was an automated mail but it does not really invite to report bugs the next time.
edit: I have the same problems.. seems alot of actions are responding slow. Try to stack all items in a corp hanger within a station container

Exactly on the point. Thing with bug reports is that they're for noticeable bugs. Sure, this slowdown issue is quite noticeable compared to before but I'm not quite sure that it still classifies as "bug".
Either ways you never know untill you try... Will check this up again during a non-busy time and then file a report from the results of that.
By the way, what's the ip for the eve server? Might be good if I could ping it and check packet latency. ---

I have a broken agent that tells you to go to an agent that doesn't exsist. No feed back, no fix, still bugged.
I know full well its because the content team never finished the old story arcs. But why are they still there if you cant finish them. A simple agent swapping your "reward item" for a little isk and standing is all that is needed. Though a more engaging storyline like the old storyline agents ones would be more enjoyed. Most people will read this thinking it's part of my post, when its actually my sig :P

A bug report has been filed now.
Now just how many of you thinks that it's going to be filtered? Place your bets ladies and gentlemen. ---

I have noticed this too. The first time it happened was in Jita, so I thought nothing of it. It has persisted everywhere I go, on all characters.
Additionally, the orders list will come up then quickly clear, wait two seconds, then show again. Very annoying.
