I'll keep this short. My Graphic card (9800GTX) is running amok. By this I mean that its getting incredibly hot, infact I have only need it go to this point in Crysis, and frankly thats just ridicouloes. Lucky i have RivaTuner and modified fan speeds, so its staying at 67-68C but I'm sure that without it it would easily have run to 100C in a matter of mins.
Even in the station there is no relief.
If this is normal, and the graphics really are that much more requiring then what I give it credit for, then I'm sorry for taking up forum space.

Nicolai, turn on v-sync, the problem will be solved immediately. 
Very High FPS = Very High Load on GPU = Loads of Heat.
Running at 300+ FPS in station does that do any vidcard, outside you're probably looking at 150+.
And EVE is pretty heavy on the shader use.
Enable advanced settings in the ingame graphics settings and set the interval to "Interval One", the problem will be gone then.

I dont see an option for V-sync.

Tick the advanced options (if its still called that) then change the interval to 'interval one'.
I have the same card and with auto fan speeds eve hits 85c on a warm day, the card should be fine up to 100c.
If you can stand the noise then 90% fan speed should keep you at 65c with vsync on (60hz monitor)
