Anyone suggests David Beckham, is scum.
American opinion is open aswell, though no American heroes like the Bush. Also womanz can also be considered a ****** of the country.

Richard Branson. The man worked his way from nothing to build an empire all of his own.
Winston Churchill. A man who knew the value of spin.
William Wallace. Though Im English by birth and I've only lived in Glasgow for 8 months, William Wallace was a childhood hero of mine (god damn Gibson for that movie, it was crap). A man who fought and died for his country and the love of a good woman.

Earnest Shackleton
The guy was a superhero, quite frankly. Not only did he save every single one of his crew during the Endurance expedition with some amazing feats which would have left 99% of us hugging ourselves, rocking in a corner; he then also when they got back to England signed up for the army (1917, WW1) and requested to be sent to France.
Just that Endurance trip alone was utterly amazing. -- 2d EveMaps My blog

I was gonna put that!
Couldn't agree more, there can be no heroism greater than his. Crossing the Drake Passage in a tiny boat is a feat almost inexplicable in its bravery and endurance (No pun intended), then crossing South Georgia ON FOOT which to this day is listed as impossible. I salute Shackleton! 07
