Hello. My alt have 6.8 mill skillpoints at the moment and she was going to go invetion/hauling. she already have a Freighter, and PE level 5 + some invention skills.
she does however got only 21 points in Intelligence(with the learningskills at level 4 and +3 implants)
But i tried starting a new character with better base intelligence and with that character i got 21 intelligence by just adding the +3 implants. if i train Clarity to level 4 she'll have 25 intelligence and the science skills would train a bit faster.
so my question is: is it better to start over or shall i keep my old character?
oh yeah...got another question aswell: since you need alot of the science skills to build T2 stuff, making my miner main into a builder is a bad choice? shall i rather use my alt to do that? she being a inventor/manufacturer instead of being just an inventor?
i really dont know what to do, and i've spent the whole day thinking about this, but i still dont know what to do. so if you have any insight or experience on this, please let me know.

First 5 million skill points is 6 months of training,
Second get better implants,
Third, if you don't like the char then buy a new one and save the one you have being you have three slots per account.
That said, I have 3 chars, +4 implants and learning skills done, I won't redo that if I didn't have to. As for the miner/inventor, it doesn't matter all the much, but answer this how many accounts do you want. With this answer we can help you better.

If we assume that your alt's memory is the same, int 25 over int 21 is an increase in learning rate of 240 sp per hour, or 5760 sp per day. 800k are starter skills, so your current alt has actually trained 6m sp.
So, rerolling is going to be worth it if you intend to skill at least 1041 days and 16 hours of primary/secondary int/mem skills.
I'd say, don't reroll. Assuming 21/21 attributes, you'll be safe for the next 47 million sp. Blame me if you (and I) are still around by then.

thanks for the reply people. i wont reroll her then. spent to much time and money on skills on her to just biomass her.
I'm getting her better implants soon. at least +4 for now. the +5 ones are really expensive and getting them from a LP store will take weeks of missioning.
i have 3 accounts and i dont really want a 4th.
and yes i plan to be here to 47 mill SP and beyond =)

By the time you have 47M SP you won't really care. And tbh you'll likely be spending more time training skills with other stats as primary.

i dont want it to change =) i chose Achura because i wanted to be a miner with the ability to train for combat ships aswell. The Achura is, according to the various character threads on this forum, a well balanced character for this purpose. though i must admit...he kinda looks like a nerd =P
