Okay, I've had this issue since premium graphics was introduced, and it's driving me freakin insane now for maybe half a year. When I minimize the client, it will hang most of the time when I maximize it. Haven't found anything on the forums about this, and I'm pretty sure it's not a problem on my end - I've reinstalled Windows 6 times at least, just got an entirely new computer, and the problem is still there. I'm on XP right now, 1680 x 1050 resolution, messed around with the memory cache size but always get this problem (on classic graphics too). Anyone know if this is common/solvable?
(when I maximize it, it never shows the game screen, the screen remains at desktop and the EVE client doesn't come back up)

Been having the same issue on various gaming rigs. Some having the latest hardware available.
Ever since Premium graphic btw.

I don't see how having latest hardware is relevant to this except waving your e-peen by sending out "HI! I HAVE A SMALL PENOR AND I AM INSECURE" messages all around.
That aside, nublets, ALT+ENTER forces the game to render in windowed, which fixes it. You get to see the shiny stuff and hopefully your ship go boom in all its premium glory. Boohoo, don't want to play Windowed? Too bad, then do what you've been doing and restart the client. It's a good fix too, though may not be terribly obvious to those who lack common sense. That's right, if you haven't thought of trying ALT+ENTER trick, then regardless of how smart you thought you were, your were adequate.
All this talk about how awesome I am and all isn't so I can be a penor and tick everybody off, but instead, to see exactly how well people in this forum pay attention to details. You can press combination of alt and enter again to render it fullscreen again. As in, quick double-tap of alt and enter. It works both ways, ya?

For starters, that comment really wasn't aimed at you, period. No, really. I also can go around saying "WTF IS WRONG WIF PPL WHO BRAG ABOUT HAVING TOP COMPUTERS WHEN THEY ARE IRRELEVANT LOL", but since my original content was not really aimed at you, and it probably will derail this whole thread, I won't.
Second, it's because of people like you that I get a kick out of making posts like that. It's a wannabe troll post that hints that I am being a troll just to tick people who just skim through posts off.
I really couldn't care less what you think either, to be honest. I told you a possible way this can be fixed. Use it or don't, it's your choice.
