Edited by: DeT Resprox on 21/07/2008 11:26:28 Further details have reached us moments ago of the recent T.R.I.A.D campaign which took place in the late hours of last night.
Led under the command of general beanflicker, a reported fleet consisting of approximately fifty Matari militia pilots were gathered within Dal with the T.R.I.A.D operation set to launch at 20:00 hours.
The objective of this campaign, was to infiltrate systems which lay host to offices of the 24th Imperial Crusade - the main Amarrian mission agency responsible for assigning hundreds of Amarrian war pilots into Minmatar controlled space. T.R.I.A.D specific orders were as follows:
------------------------------------

24th Imperial Crusade are the prime Amarrian organisation responsible for the loss of hundreds of Matari lives.
In recent weeks, they have sent out swathes of Amarrian militia pilots to capture Minmatar positions within The Bleaklands. Kamela and Kourmonen are two key systems where battle rages for control amonst the Amarr and Minmatar Empires.
The Tribal Liberation Force have requested that T.R.I.A.D lead an operation against this corporation with the focus being to eradicate all members on sight. This will help pave the way for mounting future strikes into key areas held by the enemy. An agreement has been made with the Tribal Liberation Force that our fleet be responsible for engaging the 24th Imperial Crusade in their own territory.
Our aim is to launch strikes into systems where outposts belonging to 24th Imperial Crusade may be located and to engage all targets on sight. ------------------------------------
However, moments before the fleet was set to leave their location, militia scouts reported a small pirate force moving towards the area.
Filthy Scum, a pirate corporation who recently clashed with militia forces days ago had a reported thirteen Battleships with support in the area as they flew through Dal into Auga. It is in Auga where Filthy S****then two gate camps in the system and began laying siege to unsuspecting travellers.
With immediate effect general beanflicker ordered the fleet into Auga as Filthy S****moved onto Kourmonen. The allied fleet then sat on the Kourmonen gate and moment later the pirate corporation members of Filthy S****came back into Auga.
A total of five pirate Battleships were destroyed to a reported loss of one BattleCruiser of the Matari militia. A moment later a Prophecy of the Amarrian militia was also shot down as their navigation computers led them into our fleet.
This sends out a message of defiance to all pirates organisations who prey on innocent travellers within the Matari homeworlds.
Recent reports from traders within Molden Heath have come through that acts of piracy have increased within both Bosena and Atlar. T.R.I.A.D will be mounting an allied campaign into these areas to put pressure upon these criminals and eradicate their hostile activities. DeT Resprox T.R.I.A.D CEO

I wish you luck with your anti-pirate operation, Pilot Resprox. Often in time of war the criminals and thieves are allowed some extra leeway because the powers that be are focussed on each other rather than them. Please let us know how your campaign turns out.
God grant you strength and wisdom, Pilots.

DeT Resprox read the latest broadcast from Veron Daerth with amusement. Reaching over, Resprox pressed the comms button and addressed the screen above him.

Veron, you will find that our operation at the time....shall we say....was an Anti-Amarr one. It was unfortunate our slaying of Amarrian combat pilots was interrupted at the beginning by pirates hoping for easy pickings.
They'll get none of that sort around Matari controlled space, i'm sure....many Amarrians such as yourself within the Amarrian milita can speak of the same.
A broad grin came to Resprox's face and his eyebrows raised as his hand brushed the tiny bristles. A short pause ensued.
While i wish to thank you for wishing us luck.... i too wish you the very best of luck yourself and may God wish you strength and wisdom. Was it not here that you actively spoke of holding our people as slaves!?!
May God give you strength and wisdom indeed. Pray to him that this campaign does not find itself on your doorstep Veron. I'll let you tell us how our campaign turns out.
With a low chuckle Resprox disconnected the comms link and steered Gla'Kora'Vum, a Machariel class Battleship towards the Amamake gate

Indeed Pilot Resprox, I am a Holder of Amarr, as was my father and his before him. I own the slaves that I inherited from them, and do my best to see that they are treated well. While you and I both can argue the merits and fallacies of slavery as a whole or how I am or am not doing enough to dismantle it, that is an argument for another day.
I had interpreted that you were going to venture forth on a campaign to destroy some piratical scum, in addition to your current campaign to invade the space and hold the systems of my homeland. While you and I also do not see eye to eye on this matter either, that is also another day's conversation. I am simply wishing you luck and God's blessing in the venture against any pirate of any race or creed. Those that would prey on those weaker and more defenseless deserve nothing more than their just rewards.
Yes, I also know and realize that you see me and my fellow Holders of all types in the same boat, so to speak, but I do not. This is, I feel, another thing we will never quite see eye to eye on. That said, I still wish you luck and God's blessing on your crusade (if that term does you a disservice, then I apologize) against the pirates that infest the lowsec systems of Empire space. I was in no way ridiculing you on your efforts either against me and mine or the pirates I thought you meant. You fight for what you believe in, and who am I to say that you are wrong? If you are wrong, then I am sure God will let you know in His due time. If not, then you sir, do God's work, though you may know it not.
Either way, may God STILL bless and guide you.

A "love-fest" between Matari and Amarrian? I thought I had seen it all.
If both of you are true to yourselves, you would find yourselves unshackled to the false sense of community that your respective political entities portray.
While it is true that one must choose sides in conflict, remember that there are more than two sides to the story.

Pilot Citizen, you may have mistaken my words. I by no means "love" the Matari in general or Pilot Resprox. I simply accept that they (and Pilot Resprox himself) have differing views on many things. This does not automatically invalidate those views, nor does it mean that Pilot Resprox and I cannot agree on some things.
You are correct in your assertion that there are many sides to a story. I am currently at odds with the Empire and may soon find myself exiled and unable to return. This does not mean that I do not love my home or that I am going to discard my social upbringing or religious beliefs. That is my side of my story. Undoubtedly, Pilot Resprox (should he encounter me) would just as soon blast me from the skies since I am a form of the thing he fights against. That is his side of the story. We both believe in what we stand for, and some of us choose to stand for our worlds, our homes, our cultures, our nations. Who are you to decry that choice?
You obviously believe or stand for something. You undoubtedly came to that conclusion after some thought (I hope so at least) and believe in your cause or ideal just as equally as I believe in mine or Pilot Resprox does in his. We may believe or support mutually exclusive ideals or causes or goals. This does not invalidate the choices we all made to reach the point where each of us stands.
I respect that Pilot Resprox fights for his beliefs. I respect that you presumably fight for yours. I would probably attempt to kill Pilot Resprox should he attack me, and the same can be said for you. Presumably this is reciprocated by both of you. I simply was wishing Pilot Resprox good fortune in his attempt to accomplish a goal we both could (hopefully) support, and that is the destruction of piratical elements of the capsuleer community. He does this for his own reasons, I do it because pirates disrupt the proper order and rule of law. The end result is the same. Pirates are killed.
I assure you that there is no "love-fest" as you call it. We each oppose each other, and we each chose the sides we support and we each must accept the consequences of that choice. We are not shackled, save by our own hands. And when we choose to shackle ourselves to a cause or ideal, that chain is one we put on ourselves, and its weight is one we chose to bear. That choice alone is enough to gain you my respect, but not my forbearance to kill you should the opportunity present itself. I trust the same could be said of you, or anyone else.
Two warriors of opposing sides can meet on the field of battle, and can salute each other with the respect of those that choose to stand for what they believe in. This is not love, and it is not hate. It simply is honor given to those that like you, made a choice, and now abide by it, for good or ill, come what may.
God grant you the blessings of His Light when your soul is lost in Darkness.
