This will be a boat that will be in a small low sec gang fleet mostly gate camping fleets about 5 to 10 members any set up other then the trop raven would be great thank you

When you have the capability of being one of the highest DPS ships in the game, why nerf yourself? Almost all nanoships are going so fast that they exceed the explosion velocity of the missile enough to take 0 or close to 0 dmg. Having fought several nanoships with precision cruise I can say...it just don't work. It should, and precision missiles should be buffed up to be one of the answers to a nano-blob, but oh well.

In FW for example, the majority of ships are smaller than BS, very heavy on cruiser-sized ships. Cruise missiles do more damage on a cruiser than torps do (due smaller exl. sig. radius). They go much faster (8.4km/s) and their range is limited only by your targeting range. Also they do more damage on fast going ships (unless the ship goes too fast, then none of the missiles/torps will do damage) + with cruises you have the option to use FOFs in case you are permajammed. And they are much easier to fit, taking less cpu, allowing more ballistic control units and maybe turrets/neuts/whatever. I currently do around 730 dps on my cruise raven (554 dps from cruise missiles, rest from guns and drones) with 6x t2 cruise launcher, 4x t2 bcu, 2x named 425mm rails with antimatter, 5x t2 medium drones.
