Edit: And not use any repairers... buffer and heatsinks.

I see nothing wrong here. Fit some small lasers in the extra slots for dealing with nano's. I'd also fit a MWD in addition to your AB, since that way you can dictate speed. I'd also use a medium neut, since that will drain less of your cap. Also, plates are overrated. Get those trashy things off of there and go with a third armor rep.

first I took you seriously and almost fell off my chair, good thing I came to my senses ...
Basic recipe for pwnge-geddon:
highs: 7 x DHPL II, 1 x heavy neut mids: 1 x 100mn mwd, 1 x point, 1 x heavy injector lows: 3 x 1600mm plate, 3 x HS II, 1 x EANM II, 1 x DCU II
Drones: if you can use t2 heavies, then go ahead. Otherwise webbing drones can be quite useful.
There is the extreme version of the gank-geddon which is suitable only for gangs:
highs: 7 x MPL II, 1 x RR mids: 1 x 100mn mwd, 1 x sensor booster, 1 x web lows: 1 x 1600mm plate, 3 x HS II, 4 x passive resists
drones: t2 heavies.
Will make anyone cry if faced with this in the hands of a skilled pilot = +1k dps.

I'd say:
High: 7 MP II 1 your choice Mid: (low sec have tackler): med injector, SB II, SB II/ECCM etc Mid: (more solo) point, web, injector Mid: (more 0.0 need an mwd...will likely mean you have to change your lows to fit) mwd, injector, situation specific mod Low: 3x RT 1600, DC II, EANM, 3x Heat Sinks, can drop an RT for a repper iirc, if the situation requires it.

What disturbing is that ive killed people with setups like that. I'm sure most pvpers have. At first you laugh, but then you almost want to cry...

Edited by: Commander Thrawn on 21/07/2008 21:26:31 these guys are all nuts, clearly in this game the key is to have various dmg types
here is a setup that should work
3xMP II, 2x800mm AC, 2xneutron blaster, med neut xl sb, large hull rep, disruptor lar, 3xOD, 1xnano, 1heatsink, 1gyro, 1magstab.
best geddon setup ever
works well on a mega too

Looking pretty good, but you forgot the polycarbs. Then again, those are so obvious that you don't really need to list them.

hmm usually I fit three polycarb rigs but you're right, maybe there is soemthing else that could be done with that spare slot.. I was thinking of fitting a probe launcher to my geddon, I mean, what else am I going to use the utility slot for? with that spare rig slot I could even use a probing rig! Useful to catch those loggers imo

The guns are all wrong, what if someone goes further away. Better to have a mixture of ranges over all the guns i think. Maybe an arty and a railgun would help?

i was thinking close range but you are correct
how about 1xmegabeam 2x mega pulse 1 x 1200 arty 1 x 800 auto 1 x 350 rail 1 x neutron
its no sniper but it can get good range

Edited by: ZelRox on 22/07/2008 09:12:54 Dual heavy pulses with faction ammo are mean. Very mean.
I would go with 1x rolled tungsten and 2x eanm on the dual heavy pulses setup, as the range is very low. ----------------------
