Yepp, this is what I'm also after. But it needs a bit of investigation how the transactions are linked to the journal entries.

Well mm My imput on Corp report! I not sure really.
Basic report
I mean maybe start with the simple one at first from date to date and how much you made in profit in that time chosen? or loss. Also if there a way to say how much assets on market on behave of the corp. Also an added feature to manually input other info like Loans etc to reflect the report. Oh and how much the pay out and what the corp got back. Bare in mind tho i not really aware what info you can get from API nor experience marketeer. Tho reason I like would this feature because well I dyslexic so it tend to make my job easier!
Advance report
Then for the elite IPO runner maybe other detailed reports. I think Ebank and other very experience player can put an input on this.

If you're having trouble with snscrc32.dll not being found, simply copy it from the installation directory to your windows/system32 directory and it should work. Found nowhere else to give feedback to the author either.
edit: This applies to baDateTime.dll aswell, and probably all other dlls that are throwing errors at you.

I'm liking the app so far. Is it possible change up the drop-down menus at the top to the standard File, Edit, View, Tools and Help?

Hmm?
- "File" is there.
- "Edit" isn't present because as of now, EWA doesn't provide any functionality that typically goes under "Edit", like "Cut", "Copy", "Paste". Same goes for "View".
- MS Office and IE uses both "Extras" and "?", while other applications use "Tools" and "Help", so those seem to be interchangeable.
"Wallet" is application specific like "Favorites" for IE or "Format" for a text editor/word processor.
So, I don't see anything non-standard here...

I'm terribly busy at the moment with a RL project (you know, those pesky deadlines ...).
Instead waiting until I've fully implemented the Market Orders view, I decide to upload an interim update instead, just to show you that I'm still working on EWA. Not much in there, but was requested by a user: you can now colorize positive (blue) and negative (red) amounts in both the Wallet Transactions and Wallet Journal window. This can be configured via "Extras" -> "Options" -> register "Wallet".
A short and honest outlook for the upcoming months: The above mentioned RL project will keep me busy until the end of September/beginning of October. After that, yeah, finally a vacation for me! 
So, a honest estimation for a major update is end of October, beginning of November.

Great tool!
I'm having trouble with Wallet journal.
Wallet transactions, Wallet transaction statistics and Item details are working like a charm, but Wallet journal (in corp mode) displays empty table with no cells only column headers and in personal mode nothing (status bar only says 0 entries found).
Any help?

can't you make it so you can't delete certain sales? My log isn't that old and now some statistics are screwed cause I sold some items wich I had in my hanger already so now it says: 1 bought, 2 sold, profit -100,000,000 or something like that. got the point?

Hel O'Ween, if you want to add support for importing EMMA data files, you'll want to checkout the 'Compression' class. I'd recommend using cvs to get the files but if you don't want to, here's a link to the file in the repository browser.
As you can see, the EMMA files are simply multiple XMLs compressed into one file, the 'DecompressDirectory' method will decompress the EMMA data file into the specified directory. You can then read the XML files and import the data.

Guys,
just a quick note that I've read your comments, but will have a skill break until the beginning of November (GTC has run out and I take the opportunity to skill BS to 5).
Therefore I won't be able to answer your questions until I have reactivated my account.
Some quick comments: If something doesn't work as expected, check out the application log (Extras -> Application log). Look for Event type "ApplicationError".
As for wallet journals, there was a time when i didn't get proper wallet journal data as well. Without me changing anything, it recovered itself, so my impression was that the API/API server perhaps had a little hiccup.
Being able to delete certain transactions is something, that I've thought about myself as well.
Import from EMMA: that's not possible, so far. I'll look into it and see what I can do about it.
Re: Crash when right clicking for item info. Hmm, could you try to explain where in the grid you clicked? You need to click in a "complete" data row, meaning no row which includes a total of some kind. But of course, it shouldn't crash. I've tried replicating the crash on Windows 2000 and Windows XP, but couldn't reproduce it. Do you, by any chance, use Vista?

There isn't any difference even in the in game wallet. With this situation a transaction is a transaction is a transaction. No difference. Only for the difference to be known is if someone was using the API to track their own orders and do some sort of matching up with the transaction API.

I'm unable to reproduce it at this time, as far as crashing. But on some items, usually if there is only one entry and I have "merge cells" checked, this does nothing. I have to go under client to be able to right click and get info.
It may have been possible that the crashing I had after installing was related to no history yet. And may not have pulled all the info from the API. This is just a guess, but I cannot make it crash now when before it would do it every time I right-clicked.

I understand the API and journal does not separate how an item is sold, but maybe a feature to flag or un-flag selected items in the filters might be an option maybe? Don't know, just a thought, I'm not a programmer and do not know if it's doable.

A couple of other features I would like is a Print option if I want to print out a report or item info. As well as being able to compare items I've purchased to resell and what they sold for. Maybe another filter option? There may be a way of doing that, I'm still playing with the features.

As I was writing this, I was also playing around with the program. As I went to go full screen on an Item info screen, I get "run-time error '384': A form cannot be moved or sized while minimized or maximized". I click on the OK buttom and the whole program crashes / closes out. All I did was hit the "maximize button at the top right of the box.

Open Extras -> Options. Create a new account under API Keys by entering a descriptive name, your EVE user id and your full API key. Limited API keys don't give market data. Save that account. Switch to tab Characters. Press button Retrieve characters from EVE API. The panel should now show all your chars of that account. Pick one character as the default char for account. Click Save default char. That's it. |
